when i reload a gun its like im in slow motion is takes forever just to reload a pistol or rifle
when i load a old game save the reload is fine just my newer saves any one know what it might be?

Check the load order of the weapons or for any missing files. Also what game is it?

Alright then I would suggest using BOSS for the load order, I hope it helps.

I've had this problem a few times but it always goes away when I switch weapons and then switch back. If you change weapons does the problem persist?

What I have found to work is get into a fight. I think the animations speed up when in combat and when you are done they should go to regular speed

Could be that your save game file is corrupted, sometimes when the saves get corrupted some things can go haywire such as animations, major lag, scripts failing to run, Crashes, or even being unable to load the save. I know you may not want to but if you load back to a save that works fine i suggest using that one from then on even though it may be a bit further back and you lose some progress. Ive had to do it before and it isnt so bad but it does solve your problems. Just a suggestion, hope it helps.
