New to the GUN network, just wanted to say hello. I actually found this site through a video detaling a new vegas overhaul. Couple of the links are restricted to a private section which is kind of a bummer (I really dig that legion armor overhaul) but the work I have access to is outstanding! Usually use the nexus for modding but another option with different mods is always nice. As with any mods I have ever used I am thankful for all the hours of work you guys put in to make not only mine, but countless other peoples gaming experience that much better.

Heh I just realized you have elder scrolls mods on here too. even better!

Hey man! Welcome to GUN! Don't worry about private mods or promotion, it's nice but all the best mods are in the Public Section already! A month ago on August 19th, I introduced myself, and every day after that, I posted at least five times a day, less than a month later on the 13th of this month, I was promoted to colonial. You just gotta be active, focus on other things, and not worry about the promotion. Also, try to be helpful like helping people with troubleshooting or if you know of a mod that somebody is trying to find, let em know about it. If the admins and mods and paladins feel it is right for you to be promoted, then it is right and they will nominate you. 

Again, I welcome you to GUN @hutch2996! Be sure to check out some of the faction armors like NCR Ultimate Overhaul, some of the ENBs and other things. If you ever need to talk or have any questions, please feel free to PM me at anytime.

It gets better the longer you're here...not that it isn't good now, because, it is...but like I said...it will get better the longer you're around...that's assuming you're a participant that contributes relevant lucid dialogue.

Not that you haven't already, what I mean is..."active in the community" doesn't mean finding every thread in "latest topics" and banging out the minimum words required to allow a post. "wow so cool you rock" 97 times an hour is quite "active" by definition but isn't adding any measure of value (actually posting that even once...is quite annoying especially if you picture a high pitched little school boy voice that is all jacked up on caffeine)

All that to say...I'm half way hammered and while I ramble nearly all of the time...I find myself rambling in circles when "posting under the influence" But...I'm old so...there's that.

you mentioned mods here...hopefully you'll view those as the "gift bag" you get at the party...it's my perspective of this place...it's like Cheers...you know about Cheers? It's a pub where the same group of locals go and hangout...other patrons are in the background coming and going...I'm like the Cliff Clavin of the GUN. Cliff was a mail man. Here you go a video clip

Heh thanks all! like I said I never even heard of this place till I seen a few of the mods featured in Ncrvet's youtube videos.. actually made me want to start modding nv again. I have thousands of hours on fallout 4 so its a nice change of scenery... Drink up! Play fallout! lifes good!
