If you are talking about the # of plugins limiting you and not the hardware, then if you start to learn how to merge plugins you might be able to use TTW as well. Most people have many plugins that could be merged. Plugins from the same mod that are only separate because the author decided to give the users options. Other mods are armor and weapons etc which can be combined.

This is a very useful skill if you decide to try and can be transferred (to some extent) to other Fallout /TES games as well. I recommend that you first learn the mechanics and "how to" then explore programs that assist.

I've gotten mine really high, 100+. I just start with TTW and build up around it. I always merge TTW mods(not the actual TTW) together and getting it rather stacked. I've noticed it takes more work to get a lot of TTW mods working properly with a hundred mods though.

ttw is a great mod you should try it

I highly recommend TTW for any FO3/NV play-through. I usually use a mod that lowers the rate you gain experience though as you can easily hit level 50 before you hit Primm otherwise.

There are a few incompatibilities however for the most part the mods work pretty well. If you are wanting to mod a feature or site from FO3 you will need to make sure the mod has either been made specifically for TTW or converted from the FO3 version. If you try to use one that hasnt been converted the game may not load...
