Endurance and i am on the very hard on a survival mode. Though i don't put 1 on it, i just use 2 at first then after that, i just upgrade it with intense training just to make it 6 for the increase carry weight perk. Also, i'm quite surprised i'm not that easy to get killed even if i'm being ganked by 4-6 guys... I compensate my lack in endurance by taking 1 sneak perk level since i prioritize taking the lockpick perk to get the Gobi. My Special is S = 3, P = 6/7, E = 2 ,C = 5/6, I = Solid 10, A = 6/7, L = 5/6/7

I personally put my Charisma to 1. Most quests at the low level area's have a work a around that don't require barter or speech, and if they do, they're low enough to use magazines for.

Also The charisma stat itself isn't used for skill checks; speech and barter is. They can be levelled at your discretion without needing surgery or special training perks.

Luck. It gives the game a more scavenger feel without it which is great. Sometimes for builds that are for rolling in caps and XP I set luck higher but with a scavenger feeling build I just lower luck and use the points for everything else. Finding ammo and bottlecaps are easy enough anyways.

I change up everything about my characters with each playthrough, so my SPECIAL varies with each character and never really stays the same. Though, I usually set luck to 1. I think it to be a useless stat, even though it may change quite a bit... and give you some luck at the casinos.

Much akin to several fellow gunners above, I normally set my character's Luck to 1. And oddly enough... I seem to be luckier in the contextual sense when I do this! (All thanks to that one time I rolled a luck build and accidentally blew up Cheyanne whilst defending Goodsprings. >_> )

Much like some other people, i could live without the Luck skill. While it's somewhat useful in a lot of situations such as looting, it's one of those things that you could live without and not feel too much worse off.

Luck because there isnt anything better than a critical hit and saying ICE CREAM to trick robots so putting it down is really hard for me.

Charisma, because (Lady Killer, Confirmed Bachelor/ Black Widow, Cherchez La Femme) and terrifying presence is all you need when it comes to speech.

Luck, I don't use vats so it's technically useless, and when there is a luck speech check there is usually a better one with the speech skill.

It most definitely be luck since I don't really see why it should even exist as if you would somehow have that in real life.

Perception? One of the most useless ability, especialy when you abuse EDE companion bonus which giving you 10 perception.

For Fallout NV:

1. Intelligence
2. Luck
3. Perception

Luck imho is the best stats because of crits and random events

I absolutely hate having low Charisma which prevents me from new dialogue options n stuff. Don't really care about the rest (maybe endurance in fo4, coz you can't sprint more than 5m without it), Perception is really useful tho, because of the enemy markers.

While I'm not an U83R 1337, 360 no-coping, 420 blazing, suicide trick-shotting Major League Fallout player, and I usually try out different stat placement per playthrough, here are my personal stat priorities for FONV.

1. Agility
2. Luck
3. Charisma
4. Intelligence
5. Perception
6. Strength
7. Endurance

Agility is top since I've kinda been a V.A.T.S. spammer (a habit which I'm trying to throw off). Luck because it's fun to see the CRITS roll in, and getting lucky is an overall satisfying feeling. Charisma, intelligence, and perception since these three seem to open up alternative solutions to quests which usually net more rewards. Strength to carry said quest rewards, carry more supplies, and fun melee combat. Endurance is last since you can just run a away, go non-violent, or spam heal, while poison and radiation damage is either hard to come by or downright avoidable (unless it's Cazadors, in which case you should just lay down and die).

PS. I'm a generally shitty survivalist.

Like many people .... luck (why get lucky when you have good mods!).

And agility, I prefer to bet on strength, charisma and intelligence.

for me i't roleplay first stats second then i figure out how to survive as that char.

Honestly, Charisma is almost always my dump stat. I don't remember there being any dialogue options that required a specific charisma stat. Your lack of charisma can be made up with the skill points.
