I've made one of my current characters an Ex-Enclave Special Operations Commander.
I travel around the Mojave building the best team to fight off the worst that is thrown at us, eventually taking control over Vegas for the greater good.

I use the vertibird transport from the Enclave Commander mod to get around the wasteland. I stash all my gear in there, as well as my crew and their gear. I play "Mass Effect style," as in I choose two team members to go with me into battle each time. Each person is different is their proficiencies, as well as personality. I also help each companion in their personal quest so that they will become loyal to me.

My team is strong:

My usual character play through is a drifter/scavenger, with a gift with anything that needs building they tend to use scavenged plasma or laser weaponry and explosives breaking down everything else for parts or caps.

Only uses towns or settlements for trade or jobs living in an abandoned bunker he has no use for friends they slow him down and make bad decisions.

I usually dislike graphics mods that change lighting because they tend to make everything a bright-grayish-blue, but your ENB or whatever you're using is nice.

But what I'm really interested in are those sand textures, what texture pack are they from or are they standalone? Because I can't seem to recall coming across them.

ENB I use is Onix ENB and the sand textures are from Mojave Sandy Desert. Together they make the game look real nice.

At the moment I'm role playing as Joel from The Last Of Us, he is one of my favorite cahracters from any game so I just really wanted to play as him cos I can't get the actual game to this is the closest I can get.
I am hoping the get dragbodys Joel race when I become a colonial to help with his looks as it looks like Joel but having the real Joel face would be even better.

Colonel Sanders... because in a wasteland with no chicken, humans is all that's on the menu.

I usually just roleplay as myself on games. not sure if thats really roleplaying <_<

But eh. I usually make up some kind of background for my characters more of a "what i have in mind" rather it be Melee or long range.

I just started playing as Colonel Mael Radec.He is brilliant tactician and
ruthless killer and he excels in hand to hand and stealth combat.
Radec can overwhelm everything you throw at him.

Well i roleplayed with my last character Dace he was The Ghost of the Wasteland something like a wasteland myth but he died and he was reborn he is now War the Second Horseman of the Apocalypse he stands for none he brings hell on the Mojave.

I just default to basically roleplaying as myself as some of the other posters have said.

In my case it's mostly a raider. Dirty, chem addicted, foul mouthed, absolute disrespect for law, authority and of course human life. Got inspired by many machinima vids when people tend to be silent asocial enigmatic wasteland goody two shoes superheroes who fight crime and help innocent, similairly starting by killing barely armed raiders... Hello!!! Fallout Wasteland is a post apocalyptic glowing outhouse, nobody's like that anymore.

I role play as a silent murder, killing people at night and such. Only to get caught by the whole town and leave. Then plan my vengeance and kill them all.

I'm with dangmanZero. I usually like to inject myself into a story to see how I would do in that world. However, I did have an amazing play through one time were I was a member of the Imperial Inquisition from the Ordo Xenos. Warhammer 40k for those not familiar. I had gathered a whole bunch of 40k mods and customized them so that the NCR were the local Imperial Guard Conscripts. It worked really well. The story I made was that my Inquisitor was pretending to be an courier and stumbled upon the platinum chip. In reality his goal was to secure the chip, and figure out what it did. Then Benny finds and shoots him in the head. Inquisitors try to conceal themselves so they don't draw unwanted attention. That scares off their targets, so the original dialogue worked well to this end and I could just fill in the blanks with my character. Other changes I made were super mutants to Ork's, Great Khans to a Dark Eldar group, and Ceasar's legion to a cult corrupted by xeno tech. I couldn't make the Brotherhood into a rogue group of Space Marines. I imagined them as another local group that got their hands on xeno tech and made the power armor. Mr. House and his robots became the xeno tech I was sent to discover and investigate. Now for the best part. After running around the wasteland pretending to be a courier, me and my team decide that this back woods planet is just not worthy of the Emperor and begin a systematic Exterminatus on the planet. I summon an army of Deathwatch/Imperial Stormtroopers and just go around and carry out the Emperors will. Used a lot of nukes, airstrikes, and time. I didn't do any of the DLC with that play through. Actually, I never finished the Exterminatus..........

Brotherhood of steel is always fun, NCR is always fun, I am a little out there. I tried to roleplay as Captain Jack Harkness but his look is hard to get. I tried roleplaying as an angel sent down to try and clean up the mojave. Currently my favorite style to play is as an american soldier who fell through time. I travel with Boone and Chris Kyle dressed in modern day (for us) style armor. It can be fun like visiting what was our bases and cities. It is a little sad though playing with Chris Kyle. All in all playing as an american sniper is probably one of my favorite RP's.

right now i am Rping as a Ghoul who survived the bombs in a vault and left it because the overseer was insane then after years of ghoulification and the struggle for survival he has become a Amoral
sociopathic merc who will do what he needs to do to survive he don't attack random people for no reason like raiders do but he will kill any one even children if they give him a reason or he is being payed to he also will steal if he has no choice he is in the Mojave because of his need to wander he plans on hitting all the casinos and getting rich so he can retire in the NCR

but i usually RP as a Gunslinger who roams town to town

I usually like to make a female character and I like to pretended she's a Psychopath who thinks she's a super hero saving people by slaughtering badguys. Since I'm using Tale of Two Wastelands she has abandonment issues with her dad running off somewhere. So now she's in the Mojave doing bounty hunter work. She's already made it big in vegas and has hundreds of thousands in caps and pretty much runs vegas after taking out the scary House man and setting up the nice smiley face man.


Once she's gone through the DLC stories for new vegas, I imagine she'll travel back to DC to look for her father if he's still alive. It's been 9 years since she's seen him afterall (when you go from DC to the Mojave for the first time, it progresses the game by 10 years).

I think last time I role played I was a member of the illuminati who was vying for control of new vegas, so I would play with any mod that added new enterprises I could own. Plus it game me an excuse to call in a vertibird full of troopers! :p

I'm someone with a bad case of amnesia and who has the skill to kill. Using my skill i got tied up with NCR at the start but slowly drifted apart because the pay was not good enough so I moved in to bounty hunting and pretty much just working with who ever pays more.

Kill or be killed out there might as well get paid for it.
