My current roleplay is Hannibal.
Named after a very problematic Roman enemy.
He serves Legion, but respects the power of the NCR.
Which is why I gave him the name of an enemy. To show respect.
This carrys on to gameplay, as every leader of the NCR that I kill I leave a few legion coins on their corpse.

I actually built the back story after I picked the name because I really like Hannibal in real life :p

My Fallout characters tend to be unintelligent,crazy,cannibalistic psychopaths with little to no basic human skills. Thanks to mods, I'm usually a slaver and my followers tend to be feral ghouls. The only time my characters interact with people are to either put a bullet in their head or to further my goal of ruling New Vegas.

I always try to create a Miltary type character. Just roaming around the wastes in scavenged armor is awesome. Espcially if you have a M4

Me I try to make a character that is a soldier of Earth's past and just trying to figure out how he/she ended up in the wastes and tries to find his/her way back home where ever that might be.

@Devinfallout Military characters are real fun to play as, I always seem to end up doing so haha.

@pingasmonkey that is one of the scenarios that had gone through my mind when I was playing the game. the other scenario I had was something to do with my character volunteers for a top secret project that involved experimental cryogenics and being asleep for a full year but the bombs fell and basically my character would have been in cryo sleep for about 200 years give or take a few years.

I roleplay as a mercenary who is part of a militia from the East Coast. Sent to Nevada on a high risk mission to deliver an item of high importance and establish a foothold in the Mojave for the team (Shadow Company) to move in and acquire weapons and tech for their own use.

En route to finish the mission, he gets ambushed by Benny and after getting shot in the head, seeks vengeance on Benny and to find out who sent him.

Afterwards, secondary missions are to establish peace and order in other towns and to help with humanitarian relief at the Mormon Fort in exchange for allegiance (same goes for Boomers and BoS)

i always role play with a male character being an ex raider who has to wonder the wastes with his 12 year old daughter and they travel together helping fellow wastelanders find happiness or kill people if payed enough you know the usual

I usually like to do a Cowboy style playthrough and do all of Someguy2000's quests.

fun fact the ncr veteran is based on a WWII nazi death squad commander that would have a helmet over his gas mask with a large cloak and the lenses of the mask were a strong red tint and tbh i totally agree with you

My current playthrough I'm playing as a post-apocalyptic MacGyver kinda guy, I rushed the Mad Bomber perk and mostly level Repair. My intention is to make as much improvised weaponry as I can, like the Dart Gun.

I'd love to play as a Breaking Bad influenced character, but the lack of any good drug dealing mods usually stops my intentions :/
You could even take the Winnebago (RV) mod and edit it into looking like the methlab RV from the show. It's a great mod overall, and oh boy would it fit the theme well....

I'm just in the middle of fiddling with a Vampirism mod for both FO3 and NV, based around the night person perk. The idea will be that at night physical attributes, perception, and DR will be raised to peak (10, and a +20 for DR), water breathing (as Vamps don't typically breath), and such, bu tint he daytime suffer minuses to physical stats and perception (-2 to base). Also a conversion of the Cannibal perk to Vampire, and restores full health rather than just a small amount. Also, will fulfill needs in Vegas hardcore.

I would have perhaps gone with the sun damage idea other mods have gone with, if Bram Stokers version of Dracula (and Carmilla, on that note) were daywalkers. Also, its not much fun doing everything at night in a game that's half about exploring.

Fangs and claws are already available on the nexus to be worked into a new race based on the defaults.

From a storyline point of view, I plan for the transformation to have something to do with the pillar beneath the Dunwich building, and perhaps the elderly man and his evil book. Unsure if i'll turn any other NPCs into vampires yet as foils/antagonists. In New Vegas I could certainly have Lanius be one.

That actually sounds really cool Alixen. That type of mod would be really neat and a different way to play the game. I'm definitely interested in seeing this when it's done!

In NV i play as a desert ranger. In FO3 I use brotherhood armor and heavy energy weapons.

I play as a commander of a small elite military group basically just go about decapitating and blowing up the legion its rather funny cause theres no running away from a gunship

In New Vegas I am currently roleplaying as an escaped convict from the NCRCF who has seen the error of his ways and tries to do good deeds but still uses methods shunned upon by more moral individuals, his name is Adrian White and uses cowboy style weapons like revolvers and lever action rifles :p
