2 days ago after an "Out of Memory!" crash, I start up FNV expecting the best only to be welcomed with shitty performance. I was getting a solid 30 frames after capping with NVSR a while ago. Now? It takes 4 minutes to get past a fucking loading screen. I have 127 mods and a merge patch running. How do I fix this?

Joking, but for real, you'll probably have to get more RAM, if you could let me know your PC specs, that would help a lot, because 127 mods... that is a lot. And it could be worse depending on if those are 2k, 4k, resource mods, etc, and if you use other kind of textures/meshes mods, etc.

Do you have the 4g patch? also try PCB in the console once you are in the game.

I've fixed the problem just by simply pressing "sort plugins" in LOOT. Thanks for the help!

Yeah, LOOT is a life saver, but LOOT is not the only thing you need. You need to get FNVedit to merge any mods that may be conflicting with eachother.

That helps ensure you have a stable game and you won't get those red exclamation marks while traveling the wasteland.

Even if this got solved, there is something to add. If you already have heavily modded game and you are trying to add more high resolution mods / textures, it might cause the Out of Memory crash.

HD clutter and grass especially can cause this (personal experience).

If the problem persists,

My Documents/My Games/Fallout New Vegas > FalloutPrefs.ini > bGamePadRumble=1
Change the 1 to a 0

also stutter remover, 4GB patch, ENBoost and load order are obvious starting points.
