Hey guys, how's your winter? Im studying for my last final on the 21st so... study study lol.

In my downtime, I've tried to play New Vegas. Tried. Because whenever I press New Game/Load a save :

1) The loading screen slows to a crawl
2) Screen fades to black for 10 to 20 seconds
3) The game loads at 10 or 5 FPS, there is no Sound
4) I exit
Anyone experience something similiar?

I thought this happened when I tried streaming new vegas with Nvidia Gameplay something.

What would you suggest I do? How would I properly install New Vegas? Should I rollback my Nvidia Driver? Is there a performance option/setting for gaming in this MSI laptop?

I have a MSI Apache Pro:
Nvidia GTX 1060
16 GB Memory
8GB Vram
a 256 SSD
a 1 TB HDD

My GTAV works run smooth as hell btw. Its just New Vega, and I love New Vegas.

Have you got mods installed? A mod might be causing this

It could be your driver, Nvidia recently brought one out that broke NV, but they fixed it, so check that your Driver is up to date

No mods at all. I uninstalled New Vegas many times lol.

I think so too, New Vegas is detecting Nvidia 7900 GS as the driver? and not my GTX, which is weird.

No need, Nvidia fixed it I think? I can get 60 FPS while playing windowed and at a lower display resolution for some reason

but for now, study. Ill come back to you when something happens
