I need your advice guys.


I have been thinking to buy the Fallout 4 worshop DLC

But setam users gave it a negative review. Like: it breaks the settlement mods or it is in general not worth it etc.

What do you guys think?

Is it even worth it?


And I have looked in the forum if there already was a discussion about it.

But couldn't find it anywhere.

If you enjoyed building your settlement in FO4 and the concept of it you're probably going to enjoy the workshop dlc. If you didn't and you're and uncreativ person in terms of building nice settlements like me then its probably not worth the money. (It wasn't worth it for me)

Well it just adds some armors, robots and more options for settlements. If you think about it you could get that stuff free here and on the nexus so why waste your money? Not saying it is a bad dlc, but I would recommend saving your money. I bought the season pass a long time ago so it is not the same price it is now.

There are mods out there that add the same stuff and more. The main selling point is the arena battles, which is so buggy it hardly functions. I'd wait for some sort of patch or fix.

As it stands right now, it's definitely not worth it.

Ok guys in that case i wont buy it. i bet mods will replace these things anyways.

@"Kayloo" Its what he says. The main selling point is arena battles and taming monsters but other than that, it is not worth it. As for me, I bought it anyways just to say I have the damn thing lol. But its up to you of course. Its like what $5 or so? It is not much at all like the same price as maybe a happy meal only not edible and it stays with you forever lol.

I think the mistake people are making is automatically assuming mods will be better, but you can't exactly get that from a mod without the framework bethesda can provide. If even. Bethesda has the professional tools which are on a much higher level than GECK.

As it stands, WW is a nice, quaint lil' DLC. Buy it if you want, no mod will really come up to its standard for a while. That, or you could wait for a patch because it is pretty damn broken atm lol.

I'll say wait til a future patch resolves problems. And if it does, it's $5. That's a Maccas meal.
