| Like many of you, I stayed up till midnight to wait my steam start download Automatron, and I stayed up until 3:00 AM and yet, I still have much more to explore. I have to say I was a little underestimate this DLC. The robot customization is just like Todd Howard said: "very in depth." I haven't finish this DLC yet so I can't give my full opinion on it, but I want to know what you guys think after try it for few hours? |

| I've only done the first mission so far but I am seeing lots of gameplay opportunities and extra material for when the creation kit is finally released. I like the creation aspect (already gave "her" a robobrain and streamlined the other assets) especially given that you can create a new companion robot anytime you want.
Not sure if you noticed or not, but it looked like they introduced another raider faction as well with this. Found one cluster of raiders wearing what looked like robot parts that had 4 robots with them... In the armor section of my inventory i found a robot arm and robot torso after I looted them. _________________ - KCCO

I haven't encounter any raider factions like you described but I assume is because I haven't explore enough. As for now, my creation on robot companion is limited since I didn't really prepare for this DLC and did not have any robot expert perks LOL. I can't wait to see what I can create as I go along with the quests.

| Yeah, theres a new faction called the Rust Devils, or something like that. I love this DLC so far, and I look forward to what the modding community can do with this DLC _________________ Main Mod: The Wyvern Battle PackThe above mod is for the RTS game 'Supreme Commander Forged Alliance'. |

| The Customization in indeed very expansive but in terms of builds there are blatantly superior types of robot base types. So I guess its on the player to determine whether they are willing to sacrifice stats for fashion. The new raider faction is also a welcome addition as they bring with them two new armor types as well as new weapons which makes killing raiders a little more diverse. _________________ I'm Absolutely, Positively Shadetastic baby |

| I highly enjoyed the new weapons and robots. Makes fights a lot more interesting, however the story arch, including the climax, well without spoiling anything, it's a Bethesda quality plot. =/
Minus that though, it was worth the purchase, and I'm looking forward to what will be announced later on. _________________ “We can only see a short distance ahead, but we can see plenty there that needs to be done.” - Alan Turning

| Honestly I really liked it. I enjoyed the various items you get over the course of the story and I'll admit the climax was a bit disappointing, I still really loved the story and ending I got. The one thing I absolutely loved though was the robot customization. My god was that good! So many options for weapons, armor, and all that goodies. So honestly I liked it and I can't wait for the next DLC. |

| Well... Robot Home Defence is now obsolete, thats one thing. About the DLC itself... for 9,99$ (or as part of season pass): 1. Interesting side quest (cause thats what it was, lets face it) 2. Additional music bits. 3. Cool few weapons, not too many to steal spotlight from vanilla ones. 4. Lack of new outfits sucks! The robot armor attachments are just not good enough but thats the whole games problem. 5. Disappointing story climax but at the same time very interesting if you go into the Mechanists bedroom. 6. Jezebel's useless. 7. GODDAMN ROBOTS For 9,99$ , so a very low DLC price I'd say this is a really good filler content pack before we get more stuff. In comparison a Division DLC for half the price of Automatron gives you just ONE outfit. Here Bethesda gave us a quest that steals a couple hours of your time and lets you build your own companions/soldiers. I'd give it... 7/10 would be 8/10 if there'd be more outfits. |

| For the record, I used a season pass, so the price has no relevance to me.
This DLC was really good. The ending was anti-climatic but the story was actually good. A bit tragic too, and the dialogue sold it.
That end fight was epic. Brutal, but epic.
Jezebel is indeed useless.
For some reason, I haven't encountered any new weapons or armours yet besides the end-game reward. Need to do more exploring!
Anyway, if you were expecting a 6-hour DLC, you'll be disappointed. However, considering how everyone expected that it was just robot creation, the new quests are a very welcome addition to the game. _________________ |

| After finishing the DLC in a few hours, i feel as though i got more out of it than there was initially going to be. I fully expected this to be a small little quest that would take maybe an hour or so but would mainly focus on the robot creation. I was nicely surprised to see that there was more thought put into this than i initially thought. I think the companion Ada was actually very well done but i definitely feel as though the actual Mechanist encounter could have been done better. There was indeed a nice twist, but overall that ending was anti-climactic in my honest opinion.
I would say it's worth the money and time to get it. It's a good addition to the game that opens up a lot of possibilities. _________________ This is War, Survival is Your Responsibility. |

| So I have finished the new Automatron dlc today and overall it was really well done and I enjoyed every second of it. It could have had a bit more in the way of content but for ten dollars it was worth it and it was very well done. If anyone else has finished it and wants to discuss what they experienced I would be glad to leave my comments and opinions. _________________ |

I merged your topic : Automatron Review, discussion with this as it's about the same thing , also your topic was placed in Elder scrolls discussion.

| I'm loving every minute of it. The robot customization is awesome. ADA's AI could use a little tweaking, but overall it's pretty well done. I've noticed increased spawns of ghouls (in survival mode) since I downloaded the dlc. I'm not using any mods for increased spawns or anything that would effect enemies, but I'm coming across literal "hordes" of ghouls in certain parts of the map, that I've never seen before, and I've got well over 400 hours in the game. I came across probably 30-50 of them in one small settlement, and had another group attack one of my outposts. Has any one else noticed an increased enemy spawn with Survival Mode? _________________ "they asked me how well I understood theoretical physics. I said I had a theoretical degree in physics. | played through it quick, its great not only as a dlc but as a framework. when the editor comes out I wouldn't be surprised if it leads directly to some great mods. It was a bit easy on normal difficulty with the hacker perk but that's just how it goes I guess. |

| Haven't got round to it yet.
I can't even beat the robots you face when you start the quest, though. Even with five companions alongside me (I was using a mod that allows multiple followers, btw), they get knocked down quite quickly... _________________ |

| I haven't played Fallout 4 in some time. I have a series of saves which are placed after the Institute quest (main quest) was completed. Can I use the last one of this to start the DLC? or does it run concurrent with the main quest line? _________________ |

| @"ritualclarity" you can use your later save as long as your higher than level 15. the quest should pop up right away.
Edit: I played 4 on ps4 and it worked like that sorry if it doesn't work on pc. |
