The Fallout games have various companions that get to travel with you. They're one of my favorite things to do, as it's more fun travelling with someone else (or in a group, thanks to mods), instead of wandering alone.

Fallout 4 is no different, and I hope that once the modding tools drop, we'll start seeing some more faces to travel across the Commonwealth with.

For now, I've gotten myself acquainted with Nick, Piper and Dogmeat. Out of these three, I like Piper the most. What about you guys? Who's your favorite companion in FO4?

Cait, I absolutely loved Cait. I brought cait with me everywhere just because here story is interesting and she has some good dialogue. Even better is the god damn accent, omg, i fell in love with the accent. Something about it just mezmorizes me about her. Especially when you get the nudie mods on here and have a romantic relationship with her. Enjoyed having Cait with me and she is my go to companion when i need someone to travel with.

Dogmeat for sure, but if I were to pick another one it would be curie, she is fun and is great to travel with. Codsworth is another good one, but my two favorites are curie and dogmeat.

my favorite is MacCready. i usually like to play as a mercenary character who goes for the most money they can get, and MacCready likes when you do that. plus i liked his character in Fo3.

I loved Strong for his manner of speaking like a fool.
I appreciate the other companions but they are less charismatic than Strong.

I loved having Strong as a companion, he's just a Super Mutant who wants his milk.

Mercer Fre-, I mean Nick Valentine! I found him very charming even-though he tried to kill me back in Skyrim.

I really enjoy being with Nick Valentine. He just so cool since he's like a detective synth. I like his backstory and his quests are very enjoyable with Eddie Winter. But, my favorite is Paladin Danse. His in the BOS, respects you for getting in power armor, and is a complete badass.

Danse from the BOS. Yes he's part of a now oppressive organization, and he likes country music. While those qualities alone should make most people runaway, he has a few traits that make him a reliable companion

-With a minigun, and power armor he is probably the best companion in any firefight.
-Displays a good sense of character, even if it seems to go against the current BOS values
-In the hidden audio files, his story arch is far more reaching than expected. Not to put in too many spoilers, but if you google it there is a lot of potential for a future Broken Steel like expansion.

-Also he's absolutely amazing in Buzz Lightyear power armor.

Oh Man it has to be Curie. Not gonna spoil anything but she is just an angel.

I've played more than a fair amount with all of the followers and hands down I would have to say that my favorite companion is Curie. I just fell in love with her character and story, she's a total babe. I can't get enough of her accent! Next in line is "Of the people, For the people, ya feel me"? I really enjoyed Hancock's character as well. In all though, there's not really a follower I dislike in FO4 they're all really likeable characters.

@VaultDweller1995 I agree with you completely. Curie is my fave because of just how cute she is, but my god did i get a man crush on handcock.

Hancock, he's an entertaining character with a great sense of fashion.

Cait is my favorite by far. I fell in love with her the first time she uttered, "I'm going rip your lips off!" during combat. :p

Deacon and Curie were my favorites thus far. I also liked Dogmeat since he doesn't complain and will carry the spoils of war without any comments. I really enjoyed some of Deacons dialogue as well his constant changes in disguise. He is closely associated with the Railroad so and may be a bit of a ball and chain when doing certain playthroughs. I also enjoyed having Curie as a companion because of her back story and quest line which was interesting to me. I liked the selection of companions in FO4 but wish they were fleshed out a bit more.
