Hi,
i am a 36 years old gaming veteran - i started gaming back in the days with Pong, AMIGA, C64 and something i believe called intel - anyway.
2 month ago i decided to switch from consoles back to PC (after almost 15 years - my last "rig was a 4/86 pentium;))
Why did i decide to switch back to PC? simplay: the mods for Fallout - after 100 hours of Fallout 4 on PS4 i got bored by the small selection of weapons, armors etc.
So here i am - looking for the greatest mods for Fallout NV and a community dediccated to the same hobby as i am.
I really respect your member system - even if it makes it harder for me to get the hidden gems from your site. I have a family (two children and a wife) my tzime to play PC games is pretty rare and i rather spend that short time wandering the wasteland instead reading posts (priorities;))
But i try to be a good sport and wish you all a great time

p.s could someone explain what that means? i check the FAQ on how to get all the mods and it says i'll have to do that:
-posting 5 screenshots of your own of various settings
(not 5 screens of the same thing from different angles)

i have no clue what i have to do:)

How to get mod access

As for the 5 screenshots, it is not a requirement to get mod access, you might have misread All you really have to do is, respect the rules, and be active (that means post when you have the time to do so, you don't have to be here 24/7 and post in every topic, just be active when you can).

Obtaining mod access is relatively easy but just takes some effort to obtain.
It's just to see your loyalty and trust to the community, to whom some sadly take abuse off.

All you have to really is be active:

Start or join in discussions, post some screenshots and help a fellow member out wherever you can.

The most important thing is: Stay Active and be Patient.

i have the feeling that you are right - it's nice to find a community (never was part of one before) and was a bit afraid ending up in a youtube comment section - i was proven wrong and are proud to become part of such a friendly community. Cheers and have a nice day
