| Hey all,
I'm currently playing around with the meshes on some armorpacks. Wanted to copypaste night vision goggles with mount onto a helmet without it.
However, in-game, it seems like the pasted branch reverts to the original position it was pasted in (basically, I copypaste, and adjust so it lines up with the helmet. While nifskope shows this change and saves it, ingame, these slight adjustments in position do not appear.
The adjustments are in no way extreme (i.e., a leg holster being put on a vest or on the belt); the things I'm pasting in use the same nodes (I believe) and are also close together (sunglasses and headset for example).
I'm copypasting them by selecting the thing I want to paste in, selecting "copy branch" and pasting branch into "scene root". I think that's whats causing the issue, but I'm stumped as to what the 'right' solution is. |

| This is the kind of thing I'd do in Blender, personally. Gives you much more freedom to fine-tune the fit of the pieces you're adding, and a more straightforward process (imo) than Copy Branch > Paste > etc in Nifskope.
Do you use Blender at all? |

| trying blender now, but limited. I don't have some of the older .nif plugins and something's off.
Reinstalling doesn't help so I'm trying to make do with the tools I have at the moment- although I think I'm having some success. |

Do you use Blender at all? NIFSKOPE WORKS seems like I was doing something wrong- not sure what, but selecting the portion I want to copy (NOT copy branch), copying and pasting not on, but underneath the heading of the main helmet does the trick. Sounds confusing but eh, it all worked out for the best in the end! |

| Ok, well good glad you fixed it. Was going to tell you to PM me with a link to the NIFs if you couldn't get it to work. |

I'll experiment and update with results. |
