| - Spoiler:
As you can see in the screenshot, the assets don't load in, not even if I wait. I literally have to stay in place for about 20-40 seconds for everything to load it, while the game lags all the way, and everything just appears right in my face. Now, this used to happen far, far away from me, essentially loading the entire area before I was anywhere near the area, meaning I would walk into nuka town or boston downtown and everything would already be in there. That would mean that the game would stop or horribly lag for about 5-25 seconds at a time, but that's something I can live with. Traveling the commonwealth is a no go, either roads just don't load, and I have to enter the loading screen manually, waiting for everything to load, every little while, while my running button is disabled while this happens. Everything used to be fine, until my entire pc crashed in somerville. This happened twice, the third time, the game worked, but as it is now. My settings must have reset, or the game automatically overrides them when the game starts, and sets them to very low, as I saw that my fallout4 config and custom files have their "Read only" tag unchecked after I close the game, this happens every time Anyways, for those who also "Load" the game in the background, and have pretty good LOD, mind sending me your .ini files? I dunno how to fix this, I tried everything, the game just refuses to load anything, and it makes the game unplayable I should also mention, the game first checked for my hardware, and initially rated that it could run the game at high values, altho it(mostly) had no problem with ultras. Now, when I reset the settings, it cannot find my GPU anymore, and sets everything at low, I fear this may have something to do with it _________________ http://z0r.de/?id=293

I'd recommend fixing your computer before worrying about ini settings. Depending on your CPU, that makes it either well below, or horrifyingly below minimum specs. If your GPU shows up as normal in Device Manager, then you might be able to get away with just reinstalling the driver. If it doesn't, you can try that, but it could be any number of bad parts. It also wouldn't be a bad idea to run a harddrive test, or to try and repair your OS to see if there are any missing system files. Windows 7 and newer are much better at keeping a single program from crashing your whole PC, so if the game made your computer crash multiple times that's a sign that you have more serious problems. |
