Every time I have some spare time I play fallout 3 no matter how old it is even the older fallouts such as 1,2 and tactics, once I have compleated fallout 3 and NV more that 4 times I just mod the S**T out of it, right now my Fallout 3 Data folder is bigger then 106GB not counting the original Fallout 3 files, same with Fallout NV its around 88GB now LOL thats crazy init, if I cant be bothered plaing games I just jump into GECK and add more stuff, mostly new locations, decorate things, weapons and armor, curently Im working on my little paradise island with all kind of things I can do to mess about. So keep on messing about with them games, I dont know about you but Fallout Series is never going to get boring for me

i only finished NV once. And I don't plan to finish it again. Simply because the game ends after that! And personally I don't even like the story of FNV! F3's storyline was a lot more interesting to me than FNV. Don't know why, I just enjoyed it more.(Plus you can continue playing after finishing it )

I was obsessed with modding my FNV for about 5 months o_O I only started to play the main quest, after my game crashed (probably because of too many incompatible modifications) _________________

Is the story line and end and such worth it or should I just keep messing around? Weird though because I finished Fallout 3 like 20 times!
How many times did you guys finish both games? I always end up not knowing what side to pick and doing side missions/quest mods. Then because I have no balance mods my character is overpowered and I get bored and start a new game. This time with 50% reduced xp gain. Does the main questline of New Vegas feel really damn short to anyone else? I also once modded my game to a level of mod-overdose that I started losing meshes and textures in-game and fast traveling would crash instantly |

FO3 2 times and FNV not even once, but I did come close, messing around and mods were to much fun compared to main quest.

| This was before my PC days
F3 twice so I could witness the two endings
FNV 4 times so I could play through the Legion, Yes Man, Mr. House, and NCR _________________ - My Achievements:

I only beat both fallouts on console (ps3). When I made the jump to pc gaming, I found out there is no ending, just more beginnings... with more mods than last time.

I finished all games in the Fallout series at least once, but the only one I managed to beat multiple times was 3. I originally got New Vegas on a console and beat it, but on PC I normally get really far into it, loose interest and start a new playthrough with completely new mods.

I beat Fallout 3 like five times but that was because I had it on Xbox 360 at the time. I have gotten really close to beating Fallout: New Vegas but got side-tracked by all of the mods. I beat Skyrim once as well but it took me way longer than it should have definitely. _________________

It is worth doing but I have never completed it on PC with my mods, only on Xbox before I got my gaming rig.

It's one of those games you can definitely keep on playing even after complete it. It may not have the best story as apposed to Fallout 3 but it definitely has replay value.

Played and beat Fallout 1 (Twice), Fallout 2(once), Fallout 3 (twice on console then twice more when I got a good PC) and Fallout New Vegas (twice on console and about 3 times on PC, mainly because I find better mods for NV the FO3). The only Fallout games I haven't beat are Fallout Tactics (couldn't get into it) and I have never played Fallout Brotherhood of Steel.

It's not sad at all! I've done the same thing with the Witcher 2 and Skyrim, just not as much time invested into each. For the Fallouts I believe I've beaten Fallout 3 on console maybe five times and on my computer around the same. New Vegas however, I have beaten on console roughly ten times and on my computer... Well I have over 625 hours logged on it and a large handful of characters so that may be hard to actually decipher.

I never completed it either. Don't be ashamed of that, just keep playing the way that makes you happy! I'm going to finish the story someday though, really want to see what happens for myself.
