The first time I saw Benny when he was surrounded by his pals walking out of the airport, I was parked out front ready to pick him up. They nodded towards my direction and so I smiled, Benny brought a lit match to a long cigarette and they all jumped into the car. 'He-hey Oskar, how's business?' Benny asked.
'Not too bad, not too bad at all Mac.' I replied mechanically. 'Take us too the compound, will 'ya?'
And so I did with a slight smirk spread across my face, It felt good to have Benny and his boys back in town. It felt safer. As we arrive to the compound Benny gestured towards the boys, they all left the car – He stayed inside. 'Let's go to the 64 Club.'
As we pulled over in front of the club we were able to hear the music playing, the sound of the nightlife  was as present as the moon light shining down on the streets.
'Can I get your keys sir?' A young man in a striped blue coat asked. Naturally, I gave him the keys and headed inside with Benny. We sat at a round table, two drinks seemed to have just appeared. If I was wasn't too focused on the sound of the music playing I would've heard Benny speak to a waitress before she brought two glasses of Scotch – Straight.
'I'm going to be straightforward with you, pal' Benny finally spoke. 'We'd like you to drive for us – I mean the family, of course.' he sipped on the glass. 'We feel that you're a natural, a young man of great talents – talents that we so desperately need, after out very own Gordon O'Mally decided to lead a different life...Well, we're short of a driver.'
I was now focused on his proposal. 'Sure, sure.' My eyes narrowed.
'The boss is hoping to get you out of that dump neighbourhood of yours, we'd like to relocate you to somewhere a bit closer to the compound.' He paused for a brief moment. 'Any objections?'
'I'll have to think about it some, all right?' I looked down at my drink before downing it as if it was just a regular shot.
As I nudged the glass aside I noticed Benny glancing back at two men in suits, one in a very dark almost brown-red suit and the other in a black suit with the same shade of red on his shirt.
'I think it's time for us to take our leave, huh, pal?' I thought nothing of it at first until my mind started affiliating them with enemies of Benny and the organization he belonged to. The organization that I was made out to belong to. The same young man from earlier brought our car out front, I dropped a few quarters in his hand and drove off.

After dropping off Benny I met with Old Man Louie. 'Benny said they want to “Relocate” me, If I do move I'd like you to come with me, it wouldn't be right to leave you all alone in the Heights, especially with Patrick in prison.'
He leaned forward – Hands in his face. 'All right, Oskar...But we've got to do something for Patrick when he gets out, we've got to move his things out of this dump too.' He looked up at me. 'You'll talk to Benny, won't you?'
Of course I nodded. 'Rest assured, I wouldn't just leave Patrick behind like that. I'm sure I can make arrangements.'
'Good.' He nodded before leaning back heavily on his chair. 'Now, let an old man sleep.' I nodded before heading upstairs to my very own bed, I couldn't even be bothered to take off my clothes, I drifted off rather quickly.

That next morning I made my way to a diner which was near the new neighbourhood I was to move into. I had breakfast – Eggs, Canadian bacon and a cup of coffee, I couldn't ask for more. I stared out the window to a rainy morning, the skies dull and grey but that was fine by me.
'Into each life some rain must fall' I sung inside my head.
I payed for my meal and tipped the waitress and made my way to the big Firaza compound, as I stepped inside the main hall I immediately heard my name.
'Mr. Stefanski, please, come join us upstairs.' I looked up and saw a man leaning over the oak rails.
