Hi,
I have problem with my Fallout: New Vegas. Recently I install Windows 10 with no problem, really excited for new system. But after i tried launch FNV with fnv4gb.exe, or via Nexus mod manager it appear problem. Game started, i hear background music but I can only see black monitor and do nothing after but turn off only via CTRL+ALT+DELETE.
1. Compatibility wont work
2. Launch As Administrator wont work
3. Also Tried install older Directx (9,10,11)

Any help or suggestions please ? Somebody has experience with this ?

you have try launch with Falloutnewvegas.exe ?

Are you using Steam? You could try verifying the integrity of the game cache. You can also try deleting your ENB or reinstalling it, that seemed to work for me.

No I dont using steam. Also I tried delete ENB and still nothing.. Goddamn I am getting angry

I would say try downloading NTcore 4GB

I used it in Windows 8.1 because FNV 4GB wouldn't work, it does the exact same thing, just put the file into your Fallout new vegas directory, apply it to the main game file, and then Re-verify your game cache.

That should work, and you can also apply it to NVSE, It won't work if you apply that to Fake fullscreen, since it will corrupt it.

I had this problem earlier but it is now resolved, What I did was make fnv4gb run in compatibility mode for windows 8 and all the other launch .exes run without a compatiability option.

Best of luck. I may have done some other things but it's really late at the moment so i can't recall.

EDIT: ENB is not compatible with windows 10 and fnv4gb, Remove the d3d9.dll from the exes folder or your Fallout New Vegas root directory.

Installing an older version of DirectX fixed Fallout 3 not working on Windows 10 for me. It doesn't overwrite newer components, but it added older ones that are used for older games.

Game runs fine now, ENB and all.

So, problem fixed. Thank you TeeJay really really much. It was d3d9.dll. I simply delete it, runs fnv4gb on Windows 8 compatibility and woala !!!
Also my apologies for my lack of enough information:
1. Heavily modded game
2. Playing with ENB
3. Non steam version
