I've been playing New vegas for a week now and sometime I hear this creepy laughing and also whispering (Really creepy whispering), so I was wondering if you guys also heard this noise during your travels in the Mojave waste



P.S : I swear i'm not insane

Only if I am in an extremely creepy part of the wasteland. Never had it happen when just exploring or anything that is scary though!

I would recommend moving this out of Fallout public armor mods and into the general discussion for fallout.

I dont know if im hearing things but when i go near Securitrons i hear this creepy child's giggle that lasts for half a second.

Whenever a person posts about a problem that they are having with any beth game it is best if they post their load order in a spoiler so that people can see what they have installed into their game and might be able to see what might be causing it. Otherwise we are doing nothing more then guessing and generally most will not play the guessing game as there are way too many mods to guess from unless you happen to find someone that has had that problem before.

Those are called ambient noises,there are even mods wich add or change some of them.
I think they are a great thing to have as they add a bunch of immersion,like for example I hear gunshots in the far distance and barking dogs.
Stalker had some great ambient noises either,like those shots followed by a painfull deathscream you hear from time to time in the distance.

If you go up to the Goodsprings cemetery at nighttime you can hear whispers, that's the only kind of Noises that I've really heard besides stuff in the general ambiance or mods that add stuff like that.

The scariest f***ing thing in Fallout:

I have played entire horror games whose scares did not come closes to my first encounter with one of these. Why?! Why did I get curious and go looking for a crying baby in the post-nuclear apocalyptic metro tunnels of DC? Why did I think it would be a good idea?

It might be some kind of bug where the graveyard noises from Goodspring's cemetery noises wont go away
