| A clone vault where each clone has a slightly different personality and they must compete in challenges where the loser faces death until one remains, the remaining clone gets to leave.
A vault with absolutely no privacy (the inner walls and doors are completely transparent)
A vault where people are forced to reenact different periods of history.

| A vault where unexperienced builders/clumsy people are put and only half the vault is finished and the residents need to complete and further build the vault or a vault where over 500 young (between 18-30 years old) criminals are put and around 150 gaurds and their families. They have to wait over 30 years to open the vault and use the criminals to rebuild and to scavage supply's. But after a few years they riot or something and turn into a Raider vault _________________ |

| See I always loved Vault-tec and thought of a few ideas for vaults. So here they are. 1. A vault where all the worst killers\ psychopaths in the world were studied. There was one gaurd outside the Vault Tec door. Vault was equiped with everything a prision could need including gas chamber and electric chair. Idea was the prisoners would die out over time.
2. A vault where Parents were not allowed to enter, and only children under 5 were recruited. The Parental figures would come in the form of the Matron Bots/Patron Bots, figures from fiction, or any elder from the prior generation. Experiment was Nature or Nurture, but the A.I Overseer soon became attached to her children, became hungry for more.
3. A vault with an experimental Gene Splicer. With hundreds of different DNA Samples on file, one scientist soon got bored down the line. As the physician of the vault, while giving the annual flu shots, he also jabbed the patients with dna of a different animal of the time. And guess what happened next?
4. (Comedy one now) A vault where the only book to read among its gay and lesbian residents was the bible. Yup.

| Social experiments, eh?
Maybe one where opposing genders were kept apart, but in sight of each other? To test the collective's survival instinct, since obviously obeying the rule would lead to extinction. Maybe to make the test more interesting, each gender could be taught negative propaganda of the other, to see if their own curiosity and nature would come out on top of what they are told and taught.
What about a vault with no education whatsoever? The children would be kept apart from the adults but they would not be taught absolutely anything. Not even to speak. To see how well the children could grasp the operating of the vault's complex technology without the generations of knowledge being passed down onto them. Maybe the children would be allowed to meet the adults at, say, 20 years of age? To see how much would be possible to be passed down onto them at that point.
Side note: We'll meet at the market, outlanders can't understand. _________________ A secret message to the chosen ones:- Spoiler:

| An experiment with a story similar to "I have no mouth and I must scream" / Maze Runner."
Just a bunch of vault dwellers stuck inside a facility with their memories wiped.
They have no idea what lies ahead of them, they can't remember their names or identities..
They don't know of the environmental threats that can be thrown at them..
The facility is controlled by a main computer / terminal (Kind of like AM.)
AM Had a hatred for humanity, he wanted to exact his revenge on the four last remaining humans, sending horrible monsters, and many environmental obstacles their way..
Combine this with the Maze Runner experiments, let's say a disease (Similar to that of the Pitt) broke out, and Vault-Tec wanted to find a cure, and believed that only a certain amount of Dwellers were immune.
So the vault dwellers have to escape, and move on to the next trial / facility, but this master terminal won't allow them to, until a fifth character / person (The player) helps them.

You got some really nice inspiration. Would be nice to see this in the Fallout Universe. Good thinking! |

Thank you, I'm not sure how "Lore Friendly" that would be, but Vault-tec did have a vault where they were making sacrifices because a computer told them to do so..
They thought that their water and power would be turned off, but they were lied to..
That same vault has the "Death room", with the securitrons and laser turrets.
