Hi guys, I just purchased Fallout 3 and I've been wanting to install an ENB. I've never installed an ENB in any of my games, including New Vegas. I've tried installing various ENBs in my game but the end result is the same, always crashing on start and I've tried everything, playing with .ini files, using injector version, everything. I know that the installation process should be relatively simple, but I think the problem is caused by the fact that I (unfortunately) have windows 8.1. If anyone else has windows 8 or at least knows how to fix the issues then I would appreciate it.

I doubt Windows 8 is the problem, I was able to run enb with it before. Instant crash after launching sounds very familiar to a problem I had a while back XD i switched the version of my windows and video cards, but they didn't do the trick. Didn't help The problem is the d3d9.dll. I'm 100% sure, game crashes when It's in the director but it's fine without it even if it has all the other files. Calling anyone else for a fix?

As Dead Sirious said, try some of the things i suggested in that thread and if non of that works we'll move on to the injector version of ENB, that usually helps in situations like this.

Hey guys, it's 2 in the morning here and I need some sleep. I'll try the things tomorrow morning and get back to you with results. Thanks for the advice though.

Update:None of the solutions seemed to work. Thanks for all of the help you guys have been providing so far.
