| How long will it last? I think it'll be a while since they don't release games every year. It could go on for quite some time. _________________ |

| As long as they can make money off of it. Judging by sites like this, I'd say FOREVER! _________________ “The worst thing that could possibly happen to anybody would be to not be used for anything by anybody. | It's a good thing they don't release games as often as Assassin's Creed or Call of Duty. Those franchises have become stale for a lot of people. Even if the Fallout games are years old the modders bring so much life to it and the DLC's have been decent in length and content. So yeah it will probably go on for a long long time because it will continue to sell due to the large fanbase and the modding scene. |

Well said. Bethesda doesn't run their franchises into the ground. Its been 7 years since Fallout 3, and 5 since New Vegas. 4 years has already passed since Skyrim (no, ES Online doesn't count). Helps build anticipation for their games. |

| And since every region of the US plays by a different set of rules, the possibilities are endless. We haven't seen most of the major cities, so they have plenty of choices. Imagine one in California with early Hollywood and Disneyland as inspiration, where do the Brotherhood/Enclave/Raiders/NCR stake their claims in that city and what survived?
They only touch on America due to the Americana that's at the heart of the franchise, but the whole world could use a bit of fleshing out. What about the other major world powers in that pseudo history time period? London? Paris? Tokyo? Moscow? It's unlikely, but some DLC might scratch the surface on those also. _________________ My reaction to the Fallout 4 trailer: - Spoiler:

| I sincerely hope, and also think it will last quite some time, and I believe we have some more Fallout games ahead of us, but the time between them will be something like 5-6 years, and thus there won't be a LOT of Fallout games. We also have to think that they also will deliver TES which is a similar game in some aspects. As to what robiichan said, it would be nice, but I doubt they'll get out of America. Maybe in a future release, we'll get to see some other country, maybe Russia or China, who knows, it would be great surely. I highly look forward for some lore on what happened to the other countries (extensive, not just mentions and such). _________________ A man can only be beaten in two ways: if he quits, or if he dies. The same boiling water that softens potatoes, hardens eggs. | I would love to see a Fallout: Austrailia!
given the obvious mad max influences on the series, it would be really cool to see it there. |

| It will last a long time. It has been years since the last game and there is so much hype for Fallout 4 so if that continues, it will last very long. |

| I think the series will last for a very long time. As stated before me, Bethesda does not release games as often or quickly in comparison to other publishers. with the time frame in between releases there is enough momentum to push the hype train as soon as a new game is announced. Another factor is how vast the Fallout lore is. This lore does not just affect a few select locations, it affects the entire world. There are so many locations across the US that could be the location of a new game with a new untold story. In the end, the only issue would be the need to create an original story that does not blatantly mimic the quest line of previous games. With the amount of time spent on developing this series considered, without a doubt there would be an original story. What I would like is to find out more as to what happened to England and Australia after the bombs fell. Even some more lore regarding the Annexation of Canada would be cool too. There is so much lore and untold stories that leave so many possibilities for future games. This game will last a very long time thanks to the unknowns regarding this games lore. _________________ |

| I would hope as long as the Lord of the rings movie series or Starwars.
There are so many different parts of the world that the Fallout Universe has yet to take us to..

| I feel like it will last for a good amount of time because of how well they have done with all the past games. I hope they make at least two more games after Fallout 4 because I want to see a game in Denver Colorado cause they talked about it a good amount in FNV or at least make a DLC for it and for the other one I'm not very sure but I think Bethesda will make a great choice. _________________ |

| Fallout has been around for about 20 years, with the great work from an awesome game studio such as Bethesda, it's here for a really long time. _________________ Steam Greenlight is the WorldStarHipHop of the gaming world.

| Well, the franchise is fairly popular, and when you look at how long other game devs/publishers are willing to keep on with their franchises I guess we will have at-least 1-2 more of the Fallout series, depending on the sales of Fallout 4, witch from all the hype up til now, seems to be really good. _________________ ᅚᅚᅚ

| Well Bethsda said they didn't buy the rights to the game just to make one or two and stop. They said they plan on making more. I think as long as there is a large enough fan base and demand for the game, and of course money to be made there will be plenty to come in the future. Just look at the amount of hype FO4 has. _________________ |

| As long as they keep producing high quality games, they can make as many as they want. I just dont want them to run the series into the ground, like so many other franchises have been. _________________ |

| These types of games can keep going for a long while due to the fact that their stories are relatively separate. High quality doesn't get old. I'm listening to the male voice actor and he explains how incredibly hard the small bethesda team works to make the best they can. |

| I imagine the Fallout series going very far and the same goes for the Elder Scrolls series, which has been around since 1994. One thing that assures me of its survivability is that they are designed by a great gaming company Bethesda Studios, which is a subsidiary of Zenimax Media. Also, the amount of content still out there in the Fallout Universe that we have not explored is huge! I feel most of what we've seen so far barely scratches the surface of the Fallout Universe in its entirety. So far we have only seen aspects of North America, which let's be honest there's a whole world out there! They could expand to Europe, Asia, Africa, ect. Overall, I love the unique darkness and setting of the Fallout lore with little snippets of humor, and think many others do as well. |
