| Geez. I'm also having difficulties with fnv4gb. You have to click rapidly to get through the opening slides, or the window will minimize. Even then, it sometimes freezes on the main menu for some reason. _________________ "Something old, something new. Something borrowed, something blue." My Mods: - Spoiler:

| Since I use mod organizer, I couldn't get fnv4gb to work properly ever since. I instead used NTCore's 4gb patch. It seems to be working "ok". My game has got hd texture packs installed but no enbs & seems to be working fine. I still get the occassional freezes when playing for a substantial amount of time (like 3-4hrs) but no CTDs. I thought I'd put this thing about NTCore 4gb patch to probably help out those who are seeking an alternative. |

| Even with 4gb enabled you shouldn't go much past 2gb normally, if you are able to launch via the 4gb launcher it's working. You aren't getting out of memory crashes are you?

| When it crashes is there a little window that says out of memory? Do you have alot of super high resolution texture packs? And finally, how many plugins do you have? _________________ |

| Interesting, I don't think it's related to memory then. Could be too many script-based mods maybe? Not quite sure, try uninstalling any recent mods that you think might be causing the problem and see if that helps. Could be tough to figure this one out. _________________ |

NTcore just give me a launch error what exe should i patch? Instructions says to use it on the ".exe" that launches the game - FalloutNVLauncher or NVSE. In my case: I use the NVSE, so I applied it on "nvse_loader.exe". Errors can be resolved by making the patched exe to be run as administrator & place it in the exemption list of your antivirus, if it has been flagged by it (false positive). Also, other than using NVAC & NVSR, I use the One Tweak mod - fullscreen windowed mode. This also helps in minimizing memory usage. PS: If you wanna check other NTcore users' posts just to be sure, I myself actually saw this help tip on a reddit post. I'm not sure if it can be linked but it's very easy to google, just type in - "fnv 4gb patch help reddit". Should be first on the results. More info can be seen there. |
