| Greetings.
As everybody most likely knows by now, the Fallout 4 Pip-boy edition has sold out. Twice. I was wondering, has Bethesda announced, or is planning, any other pre-order editions BESIDES the Pip-boy edition? Not everybody is going to be able to get the pip-boy edition now, considering Bethesda has chosen not to manufacture more pip-boys, and so far it looks like many fallout fans are just going to have to pre-order the standard edition of the game on it's own with no bonuses.
So, any news on this kinda thing yet? Any word from Bethesda? I tried doing my own research, but couldn't turn up anything, which is why I decided to ask here. _________________ . "Throw me to the wolves, and I will return leading the pack." ~ Unknown

| Well its speculation on my part but new Vegas did have a few preorder packs such as the courior stash, so If Bethesda does anything else might be similar to that |

| Maybe, probably they would have something like a tangible map bonus or something. Not sure about something similar to the courier stash though but its not really a big loss if the bonus was like that. _________________ soup soup soup soup

| So far they haven't announced plans for an additional edition of the game and I doubt that one is in the works. Â Pretty much every game they've announced/released for the past 10 years had 2 editions (standard and collector), as recently as Skyrim. Â So its hard to see them breaking that trend with Fallout 4.
Edit: Fallout 3 had an extra edition I was previously unaware of http://www.amazon.com/Fallout-Amazon-com-Exclusive-Survival-Edition-Pc/dp/B0017QFX30
Mind you down the road there'll almost certainly be a version of the game that bundles in DLC/etc, but that'll likely be at least a year after the core game releases.

I thought Fallout 3 had 3 editions? One with the pipboy clock and a lunchbox, one with just the lunchbox and then one with the standard game edition. _________________ |

| It actually does look like there was an Amazon-exclusive 3rd edition. I hadn't heard anything about that, interesting! |

| Looks like there was a fourth edition exclusive to GAME in the UK as well which had a BOS figurine with it. I can see possibilities of other editions being announced but their hasn't been any news unfortunately. Maybe we'll here something at gamescon? EDIT: holy moly look at those prices for the survival edition! |

| Thanks for the feedback, a shame if this is the case, having no other editions. Guess we can only hope that there will be another pre-order option of the game that comes with everything else (such as the steelbook), just without the pip-boy. At least the companion app to go with the pip-boy still works on it's own. Anybody without a pip-boy can just pretend that they're smartphone is a pip-boy readius x3.
I thought Skyrim had 3 editions though? There was the standard, collector's edition that came with a statue of a dragon, and another collector's edition that came with a map instead of a dragon. _________________ . "Throw me to the wolves, and I will return leading the pack." ~ Unknown

| I think Skyrim's Standard Edition came with the map, at least mine did, although it might've been a pre-order bonus thing, not entirely sure, I only remember buying the standard and the map came in the box with it. _________________ |

| There is another edition of Fallout 4. it's called the Wasteland Pack and it's only available at Gametraders in Australia. Unfortunately, it looks as though it is not even an officially licensed edition. It comes with the base game and a hand painted, resin cast laser pistol. Kind of cool, but it doesn't really seem legit. Any thoughts? _________________ This is War, Survival is Your Responsibility. |

Kind of cool, but it doesn't really seem legit. Any thoughts? To be honest as well, it doesn't seem that legit as well. And if it is, it comes at a price of around $170 USD. |

And Apparently Bethesda didn't even have any knowledge of it's existence up until a week or so ago. And to be more honest, a usable pip boy seems way better haha. _________________ This is War, Survival is Your Responsibility. |

Just looked into it, a shame it's not legit. It does look pretty cool, the laser pistol, but I personally would not be willing to buy something like this. Makes sense it's $170 though, over here in aus things are a lot more expensive. _________________ . "Throw me to the wolves, and I will return leading the pack." ~ Unknown

| I was so dissapointed when the pipboy edition sold out within SECONDS, literally rushed into the Bethesda store a minute after watching the E3 Bethesda conference and it was gone like the wind. |

| Apparently GAME of GB had a limited edition of the limited Collectors edition of Fallout 4, it came with a Pip-Boy bobble head from what I saw and a T shirt, oh and a poster of the pipboy icons as well. - GAME's Special Collectors Edition:

| The t-shirt and bobblehead are just extra incentives for pre-ordering, you can get the bobblehead with the standard edition of the game as well if you pre-order it from there . The T-Shirt was a very limited pre-order bonus, only the very first few pipboy orders actually come with one. And I thought the poster was a part of the pipboy edition? Could be wrong on that though. _________________ |

| Hopefully I am not resurrecting this thread, 10 days since somebody last commented... I just thought I should post this here: EBGames (the equivalent to Gamestop over here in Australia) have this as an alternative pre-order bonus, I don't know if you can get anywhere else though. Just thought it'd be worth a mention. |

| I usually don't worry myself over pre-orders. I find that they will all come back around one and a while from here and there. I'm sure there will end up being plenty more for everyone, especially since this is a long due project. |
