hmmm...From Fallout 1 and 2 my favorite weapons was sniper and laser rifle,and from F3 and NV my choise was an hunting rifle and magnum.

This Machine/Battle Rifle in NV, definitely. That ping it makes when it reloads is pure bliss.

My favorite ranged weapon has to be the gauss rifle, in particular the YCS/186 unique variant in New Vegas. Has high damage, good range, and it has a little bit of a falcon punch in every shot. I say that because every enemy I kill with it goes flying a bit. Its also great for deathclaw hunting. Though my favorite melee/unarmed weapon is the two-step goodbye. Took me a bit to figure out what "crit-kill = boom" meant. See at first I thought it was they explode like with bloody mess, but nope! Found out the boom was literal and how the power fist earned its named.

The Experimental MIRV. For maximum screw you to whatever you're nuking.

Gauss rifle !!!! always murders lots of flying bodies every were and its long range topped with 100 energy and rapid reload the thing becomes death incarnate

my favorite is the avenger minigun found at devils throat, because it looks awsome.

my favorite weapon since launch has been the anti-material rifle as i have always been a big fan of 50 caliber rifle in the real world and when i was playing fallout 3 i was always wishing i had something with a lot more kick than the standard 308 sniper rifle and when i seen the fallout new vegas trailer for the first time with the 50.cal being fired i had the biggest grin on my face

Man this weapon may be so overused but the fat man I have to say is my favorite! I mean who wouldn't want to blow their enemies away with mini nukes?

While the laser rifle certainly is iconic, I have to go with the Alien Disintigrator. It was extremely fun to fire plus the damage is amazing. The unique alien weapons had cool effects too.

Gauss Rifle is the one weapon that I used the most even better if it's the one from the Radiation Weapons Kit - Sonia NV Edition mod that one would launch enemies into the air flying.

You can never go wrong with a good ol' sniper rifle with a silencer. Literally no matter what build I go for I always end up a stealth sniper, kinda like how I always end up a stealth archer in the elder scrolls.

Outside of that, "This Machine" from New Vegas. Gotta love the Garand

The Gatlin laser and the Anti Materiel rifle are always going to be my favorite vanilla weapons.
