Having just been on a forum about how FO4 measures up to its predecessors, I was hoping to start a topic that will be... in theory... less divisive. But we'll see, right. Feel free to include both vanilla and mods. Any way my favorites are...

-Broadsider (FO4) It's a freaking 18th Century Naval Cannon... what's not to love (Besides the rare and expensive ammo)
-K9000 (FNV: OWB) Who's a good gun? You are... yes you are.
-Ranger Sequoia (FNV) I dunno... I've really always been a fan of high caliber revolvers. They're loud, intimidating and wildly impractical. And why not go with the biggest and the loudest of them all.

-Of course no list would be complete without at least mentioning Weapons of the New Millenia.

Wazer Wifle. Nothing else comes close.

Biwwy's Wazer Wiffle Fwom Fawwout Twee, or the one Robo-Shaun builds you in FO4? Wish Shaun's had a better enchantment. Also, at the risk of seeming a bit off-topic on my own thread, what did you think about the whole enchantment system in FO4? Personally I liked it... but I wish there were still visually unique... unique weapons as well.

Well in honestly, both. Though I do prefer the Fallout 3 Biwwy version as I use it more often. After the game I never visit Shaun at all. He's a synth and dead to me . Personally I like the enchantment legendary weapon effects from Fallout 4, but I don't personally use legendary weapons and just find and sell them for caps to put towards power armor pieces and materials for building them.

Not a fan of synths eh? That't a topic for an entirely different post. But Biwwy's version was better, not to mention there's another unique laser rifle with the same enchantment as Robo-Shaun's at University Point. Maybe I'm reading into it too much but, if I'm not mistaken, the whole reason the institute hit University Point was to get their hands on the rifle there. So maybe that's how Robo-Shaun was able to figure out how to make a similar gun? But again that's just some good old-fashioned lore-wank... or my least favorite word ever *Gags* head-cannon. *vomits on floor*

Anyway... no honorable mentions just Biwwy's Wazer Wifle? They're good guns corvo.

Eh I honestly most of the time before reaching the stages to get the Wazer Wifle just use anything I can get my hands on. For Fallout 4 I barely use anything but melee weapons and stealth up until I get X-01 and gatling laser, from then on it's gungho for me.

One of the weapons I do feel needs an honourable mention though is Maria, I don't use it often but I love the engravings on it. I know it offers no tactical advantage whatsoever but it's just more of a reason to kill Benny. Plus, it sells for a decent price last time I checked.

Fair enough... so you're mainly a FO3 player then? I dunno... I always felt a little too overpowered in X-01 and heavy weapons. Took whatever little bit of difficulty FO4 had and squashed it right into the ground. Maria's cool though. What you really need is A Light Shining in Darkness. Haha Grunt perk to the max!

MPLX Novasurge, for some reason I've always had an affinity to pistols and I fell in love with the plasma weaponry when I first found them in Fo3, pistols always lack much punch though so the MPLX was very satisfying damage wise. The Zhu-Rong is cool too.

lore: the Experimental MIRV, but I have a mod that makes it normal.

Custom: MK 14 EBR / Colt M1911

Experimental MIRV! That brings me back... it was so awesome, so absurd that you just couldn't help but love it. To be honest it was pretty cool, but it mostly just sat in my Megaton house as a trophy... could never find a situation where I could use it without promptly killing myself. It was pretty cool though. Esther in GRA was pretty cool, not to mention that you had plenty of choices with all the unique ammo types.

Love the That Gun from falloutNV. This gun I want in my real life too.

I loved the Anti-Material Rifle and Light Machine Gun from New Vegas. Just shredded through enemies!

Prolly the H&K G11 or its E variant from Fallout 2. Few video games feature that weapon as it is, and I fell in love with that gun and have used it as a main in every playthrough to date.

Anti-material rifle for me, it feels really satisfying to use.

It's gotta be the Battle Rifle, but I prefer the unique variant of This Machine, it's super awesome, I've always wanted to own an M1 Garand in real life.

The railway rifle from 3 is my favorite. Seeing your enemy's head staked against a wall is very therapeutic.

The MSR sniper rifle, I still have not found a better one for Fallout 4 IMO

For FO3, the Infiltrator. New Vegas, either Survivalist Rifle or AMR(GRA). For Fallout 4? I hated the vanilla weapons so I can't choose.

My favorite weapon is the Splattercannon from F04. I love the paintjob, I love the increasing damage, and I just upgrade it for full ammo, full control, and full auto.
