| I've been having this problem for quite a while and it seems like no matter what I do to try and fix it the problem still exists. Essentially what happens is even if archive invalidation is checked in the profiles tab, I have the archive invalidation invalidated mod installed, or if I even set archive invalidation manually, it still doesn't work. I have armor and weapon mods installed that both look very good but I can't use them because they either get screwed up with the textures and looks like garbage in game or my character ends up covered in black bars. I've run out of ideas so if any of you have some or know of possible fixes, please let me know. I'd really appreciate it. _________________ |

| I have. I've only had one activated at a time but it just doesn't seem to want to work for me. I'm really confused as to what to do _________________ |

| First:
Make sure "Automatic Archive Invalidation" is checked in the profile settings menu (I'm not at my pc right now but I'm pretty sure it's called something like that sorry).
It doesn't work for you alone, like it doesn't for me (I think later versions of MO broke Archive Invalidation), but I found a workaround. Go to the archives secton and uncheck "Allow MO to manage archives". Then launch the game. Wait for it to crash or if it doesn't just alt+f4/end the task when it loads up after waiting a few seconds. Then re-check "Allow MO to manage archives" and check all the mods in the list. Just to be safe, you may want to move the "AI!.esp" directly under "Archive Invalidation.esp", but I don't think it makes a difference.
Archive Invalidation should work now, good luck sir! |

| No luck unfortunately. Still have the same black boxes on my character.
Any other suggestions? _________________ |

| Try installing the body files manually, MO quite often can screw up installers as they weren't programmed to work with MO (for NMM or FOMM). You can do this by going into the FOMOD and dragging the files out and making them a .rar and then proceeding to install like a normal texture mod.
Hope that works for you. |

| When I try to install Breezes Male body I use the AIO version which has a built in archive invalidation check and 2 out of the 3 checks comes up red. So my archive invalidation still isn't installed for some reason. - Spoiler:

| I don't know if you can trust that; considering how MO organizes its files and where it puts them. I would try doing what i said earlier and if that doesn't work, report back. Good luck. |

| Installed the mod manually but still no luck. Currently messing with the priority of the files because according to Mod Organizer it affects the archive in some way. _________________ |

| If all else fails, going back to earlier versions of MO may be necessary, 1.2.7 or something like that has working archive invalidation from what I've heard. I'm personally thinking about it myself. |

What Swoody says is correct, I told him about this the other day in the chatbox when he mentioned he was having the same problem as you. I have 1.2.17 of Mod Organizer and have used it since the initial release of that version, I've had no problems whatsoever and I see it to be the most stable version of MO that I know of.
If anyone is having the same problem, Backup your Mod Organizer "mods" folder or the whole of MO for that matter to a safe place and downgrade to MO 1.2.17, Then move the files you backed up that you need to resolve this issue._________________ - My Achievements:

| Thanks for the info about downgrading Modder, I'll definitely do that when I get the chance If your problem is related to Archive Invalidation at all, this will definitely fix it. |

| Hey man may be a bit late, I had the same problem but in Fallout New Vegas, all I had to do is go to the archives tab and make sure Archive Invalidation was first in the list, pretty much dragged the other bsa under the archive invalidation one, make sure it's right at the top please try it out and let me know. |
