Hi, i have a small issue i cant get fixed and was curious if any of you can help.
I was playing fallout nv for years and wanted to do a fresh start so i went to steam right clicked on fall nv and deleted and reinstalled, and started over with all fresh updated mods. It was going great until i started crashing and lagging,
I have NVAC installed and stutter remover installed, and changed both ini files to: bUseThreadedAI=1 <------ from 0 to 1 iNumHWThreads=2 <------ and added in this line.
When i installed NVAC and Stutter remover into my: fallout nv folder by adding a folder NVSE then inside a folder called Plugins.
I noticed I had no logs from stutter remover or nvac, and XRE Cars would prompt me at start that there is no stutter remover loaded.
So just trying things i copyed the NVSE folder and put it in my DATA folder and boom both LOGS appeared in my Fallout NV folder and showed it was running.
XRE cars then would notice it but not every time, if i installed a new mod i get the no stutter remover prompt again and have to move the new mod higher on my load order to shut XRE stutter remover prompt up.
i dont like the idea of having 2 NVSE folders, one in fallout nv folder and one in the DATA, i would like to fix this...
today i installed FNVEdit and did a merge patch and that did not work...
i do not have many mods loaded in atm, and i was running better with twice as many before.
what i would like to do is just start all over from scratch,, so i deleted fallout nv on steam again and deleted fallout folder from documents/games fallout, i uninstalled fomm, then reloaded then and my fallout game was still the same , still had both nvse folders, stutter nvac, it reloaded up everything i wanted out.
How do i completely remove fallout nv on steam and reinstall a fresh new copy?
or does anyone see any huge mistakes i mighta made that cause crashing - and when i say crashing it just shuts off and i go to desktop,, no warnings, no errors, no windows looking or solution, it just shuts off and boom back on desktop..
or every 4th door i go in freezes up then i get error note ect ect
i got the 4gb loader, and got over 1000 gb of memory free on my PC and i do not get out of memory errors,, i had those long ago when trying to run 160-180 mods. right now i got 50/60 mods in
any help would be great thank you.

I....I don't think that's what he's asking....
If your looking to delete all your folders, I would suggest going into My Games folder which can be found in your documents folder, and also going into where you have your steam files installed and finding this directory. for me, its program files, so it looks something like this :C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common. Delete these and you should have your fresh install.

Thank you but I got all 3 but as i said before there were no logs running at all and none to be found.. it wasnt until i made a copy of nvse file and put a second copy into my data folder did logs start to appear in my fallout folder for nvac and stutter showing it was running and it shut the xre mod up a tad, it still here and there says stutter remover not loaded, but not everytime..
i just think somethings seriously messed up and just want to reinstall fallout get a fresh copy start over i think.
I use FOMM i had issues with NMM , if i put say ncm's texure into fomm and uninstall it its fine my games fine, but if say i install ncms texures with NMM and go to uninstall it my game is broke, no more roads or ground it seems to not put the vannilla back in,, so i stopped using nmm and use fomm now,, is that my trouble? should i be using nmm?

I would have just done a backup list of the mods and the order in which you had then, prior to deletion. You also could have checked your recycle bin (steam items may appear within). I found the mod XRE cars to be a bit problematic. It didn't recognize NVSE as being present when it was, and the cars wouldn't function. I just gave up, not long after downloading it. The mod itself wouldn't add a new dimension to the game so I moved on.
I would just give up on XRE cars, if I were you. It will spare you a headache and you can move on to more interesting mods.
I am not sure if I ever used NVAC for FNV. I know that I never used stutter remover. Yeah, if you really screwed up your game data files with mods, just backup your saves to a separate folder (on desktop, for example) and then remove all mods and run the 'check local cache' or game files or something by R-clicking Fallout New Vegas from Steam library and go to properties. There, you should find something to check your files. That's my advice.

thank you so much,, yeah it was weird i delete it and reload it but every mod was still in the game lol but yes the manual delete deleted it all it only left my old saved games which i deleted..
agree i dont like xre cars much but i really love mettels add on,, wasteland vehicles, they got power and run right, but to be honest and this will sound super dumb but i like seeing the cars in the wasteland but i very rarely drive any haha, they just seem like they should be in the game (look wise)
my pc stinks so nvac and stutter remover are a must i can see the difference with them being the first mods i add into the game,
i also change my ini files for a secondary anti crash like i mentioned in my first post. learned it from this video-
my next big thing i want to perfect is merging files and making less esp's
