hey guys, the new Fallout 4 has just been revealed and, in occasion of the famous Garage Power Armor screenshot leaked i just had an idea:

Why don't we all make each a unique design of a power armor in-game, take pictures and make a sort of contest?

Prizes and rules are open for debate since it's my first contest idea ( it's just an idea right now) aand dunno how to set it technically...right now i need to know who would like to apply this.

Example: wanna also use ported stuff or all vanilla only?

Without meaning to sound negative, something like this favors modders and people experienced with rigging/etc.  It would automatically exclude a lot of people, where as stuff like screenshot contests do not.

you may be right, didn't consider that.

I had this idea considering PA is the iconic armor of the Fallout Series and thought it may be a good idea to celebrate FO4 announcement by a sort of showcase that's not only screenshots.

Any similar idea to celebrate?

I can't really think of anything, outside of a screenshot sort of thing. But there's already a screenshot contest about to start up, so its hard to even recommend that much.

As for your question, its still a tall order. You're asking people to install Blender and become knowledgeable enough to get the correct Nifscripts and plugins, understand how to import and modify meshes, scale and orientation... etc etc.

OK, btw i am wondering...how can i make something like skyrim mannequin to store my armors and show them the same way as the gas station screenshot from Fallout 4?

Why not include drawings/images/concept art in the power armor contest to allow more varied entries? That way modding skill is not necessarily needed.

that could work...btw my favourite designs are normal clothes/armor augmented with Power Armor parts
