| It started in Big Town with problems in big twon etc... when I get Red and Shorty to the city all is doing well but I tried to teach they to use robots... the protectron doesn't appear so I couldn't complete that part.. some mutants appear and I kill they myself but the quest didn't finish... So I leave the place some days... today I come to big town to look if the quest still bugged... well there was the robot I activate and the protectron appeared activated.. near the twon was another supermuntant and I kill him but the population of the city disseapeared... So my question is: Is there any possibility of make Big town back to normally?
Yeah I can restart the game but I have pass A Quest For Heaven Part 1,2,3 The pitt Anchorage Point lookout I kill Eden and even done Vault 101 Revisited and other things...
So if there is another form to recovery Big town...
Thanks so mach for your reading and your patient. |

| The only solution I see to this bug other than reloading from a save before you started the quest is to look up the quest information on the wiki and do the setstage console command and use the console to complete the quest. Other than that I have no idea how to fix it. |

| Some times Bethesda games just bend you over sideways because of how buggy they are. You could spawn the NPCs you need to be present and see if that works. Otherwise, you may just be screwed, and need to do another playthrough. Sorry I don't have any more useful advise _________________ |

| Hm, just restart the quest in console. Spend some more time to redo all stages of this quest. It will help. If not-finish this quest also with console
http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Big_Trouble_in_Big_Town?_ga=1.227050270.284953292.1430401289
If you have save before attack: prid 2d934, kill, resurrect, disable, enable, prid 2c11b, kill, resurrect, disable, enable and if they doesn't appear use moveto player.you also can do player.placeatme 0005ac77 1,1,1 и player.placeatme 0002c11a 1,1,1. Then fix them and go to the battle.
Or just complete it/reset it completequest/resetquest 00014e94 |

Or maybe reset all the quest? I suggest firstly to try with 'placeatme', if will not help so reset the whole quest in that case. |

Well, at first I reset the quest, and I reset all Big Town npc, then I place they in big town and use SetStage 10 to start the quest, then CompleteQuest.. Red say me to help him with the next atack of supermutants, in this time I didn't choose the robotic option, I choose to kill the supermutants myself but they didn't appear... days of waiting I go to megaton to sell something but when I return.. they are dead... again |

Supermutants are going on the road from the police station. I killed them there. When you go throug the bridge just turn right and go to "meet" them. If not, you may stay in the Big City and wait while they come. It may take some time. Try to save the game and use "wait for..." and wait for maybe 1-2 hours. If no muties try 2 more etc. But it will never do to go from the city. For Megatom |

| Go to another place, reset the f***ing quest and try to do it one more time) Maybe some mod interrupts, maybe smth in game process... Maybe try to teach them to protect themselves or to hide (i don't remember if there is such option...). In that case they can be in battle without you. _________________ If someone interested: 1 horsepower=45 duckpower - WHY?:
1 horsepower (HP) was defined ( reference: ) by taking a horse that could pull with a force of 180 lbs, and the calculation comes out to ~32,572 ft*lbf / min. To estimate the pulling power of a duck, I will consider that they have enough force to propel themselves up into the air, so that is at least a force matching their weight (1.6-3.5 lbs). Since birds of prey can sometimes take off with a fish (perhaps 1 lb), I'll estimate that a duck or other similarly-sized bird can generate 4 lbs of force. HP formula from wikipedia gives: P = W/t = F * d / t = 4 lbf * 2.4 * 2pi * 12 ft / 1 min = 723 ft*lbf/min But this simplifies to a comparison of 4 lbs of force in the duck to 180 lbs of force from the horse.. 180/4 = 45. So perhaps 45 ducks, if they could all apply maximal force in the same direction, at the same time, might be able to generate the horsepower of 1 horse.

You are correct, all of your suggestions have been right on! Ramsey, if you can reset the quest teach them how to defend themselves instead. Make sure to read everything on this page, it has all the information you'll need! http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Big_Trouble_in_Big_Town Moonlight told you right: - aka_Moonlight wrote:

Or just complete it/reset it completequest/resetquest 00014e94 This information is confirmed, this is from the BUG section on the wiki link: When presented with the option to defend the town by repairing the damaged robots, the robots will not be in the town, due to the flying creatures and items glitch. This renders this section of the quest unable to be completed. On the PC, entering the console and typing PRID 2d934, kill, resurrect, disable, enable, PRID 2c11b, kill, resurrect, disable, enable should restore the bots. If they fail to appear, you may need to enter one more command: "moveto player". Also, by chance if you walk out of Big town and fast travel back and wait a couple of hours the protectron MAY appear back, repaired. [verified] You have the "flying creatures and items" glitch. Here's info about that glitch: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_3_bugs#Flying_creatures_and_items Flying creatures and items
Flying Protectron
A protectron mid-air
Deathclaws and protectrons frequently experience a physics engine glitch which sends them hurtling through the air. They can go quite far. The disabled protectrons in Big Town, in particular, are often subject to this glitch. This can make a portion of the quest "Big Trouble in Big Town" impossible to complete. Jumping onto the Rivet City bridge when it is not in final position can throw the player character into the air. |
