| I was looking for large overhaul/new land mods for fallout and I ended up on the Tales of Two Wastelands website. I want to know what its like and if its worth downloading. Can anyone that's played it give me their thoughts on it. _________________ Fallout is love, Fallout is life - Spoiler:

| One of the best mods out there in my oppinion. A must have if you like fallout3. So you can switch between the mojave and the capitol wasteland via train. I got no problems with this mod. Some small bugs but nothing extrem. Like some missing meshes in the landscape. The minor issues are listed on the website. And also what mods are not recomended. Try it out. Have fun. _________________ |

| It's definitely worth downloading if you liked Fallout 3. It adds more hours to your game and the transition between game seems seamless. There are some minor bugs and some mods that aren't supported but it's very stable. It made my game more fun because I can switch back from D.C. to New Vegas and vice-versa. |

| I highly recommend it. It's fun to be able to go back and play through the DC content, although I personally find it to be far less "polished" than New Vegas (recurring voice actors, inferior weapon animations, etc.). That said, the DC world design and variety is still outstanding :-D
Also, the TTW team does an excellent job at regularly updating/providing support. _________________ |

| I didn't like it the first time I tried it. Recently I decided to give it another try and I'm loving it now. It's easy to install and getting/making mods compatible is pretty easy too. My favorite part is not needing RH Ironsights anymore. I myself haven't encountered any bugs, even with traveling to and from each wasteland multiple times. I would give it a go, just to see if you like it _________________ |

I was the same way! I must've tried an early alpha build, b/c the more recent versions have been a lot better and far more stable. _________________ |

| A tale of two wastelands is fantastic. I myself have a mod-folder made out of over 400-500 ESP's and esm's that's merged down to 120 esp's/esm's. And still a tale of two wastelands works mostly perfectly.
There are some minor problems with custom races, but eyy, the same problems were in fo3, so it aint the mods fault.
Some versions ago ( not the current one) I actually played trough the entire fallout 3 world + all dlc's trough TTW. It all went smooth. Except for some crashes in Mothership zeta.
Its totally worth the instal time. _________________ ᅚᅚᅚ

| I tried it a long time ago and I thought it was cool. It was a little buggy but that was to be expected of a mod this scale. I might install it if i get bored with the Mojave wasteland and want to visit the old capital wasteland again. _________________ "Just one question. What if you miss?" "I won't."

| I'm one of those people that will always advocate for this mod, there's just so much to do. Use your New Vegas mods in Fallout 3 and your Fallout 3 mods in New Vegas. You can just flip between either world, and if you download some of the mods that provide houses that have openings in both worlds, you can dump your gear in the house or any additional supplies that you find along the way but don't need for the time being. And, my favorite part, hardcore mode in Fallout 3. |

| It's really impressive, and for the most part stable. There's some framerate loss, most likely because of it adding so much, but it's worth it if you enjoy the two games. _________________ |

| I tried it after all these replies and I must say its pretty cool. I could never choose which game was my favourite so being able to cross between games without breaking immersion or starting a new character is quite awesome. _________________ Fallout is love, Fallout is life - Spoiler:

Yeah it really is. And the best part is bringing the first person sights and stuff like that into fo3. |

| Thanks for all the love, I'll pass it along to the team. As for bugs, there some minor ones. Also most of the bugs you'll encounter are in Fallout 3 itself, TTW Fixes address most of it. It is a combined uOF3P and YUP + TTW Specific fixes. |

| So does that mean that fallout 3's weapons have proper iron sights with the TTW mod? That sounds awesome, that alone makes me want to give it a go! _________________ I want to dress in your insecurities. |

The easiest way to avoid it is to copy your entire FNV data folder and stash it someplace else. |

| You know those arguments and discussions regarding which fallout game is better? The post about how FNV's mechanics and gameplay are better while FO3's atmosphere was the best. TTW allows to you to take the best of both games and put them together into one-single-perfect-masterpiece-of-art. You have to agree that hands-down the gameplay of FNV is far superior than FO3. Have you ever dreamt about using different ammo types and crafting your own bombs in the Capital Wasteland? Well you can do all of that with TTW. Plus, its is generally accepted that TTW is more stable(by frequency of CTDs) compared to vanilla FO3. _________________ |
