| Hello everyone. I would like to hear people's opinions about such types of mods as bug fixes, patches, etc. Is it worth it, or it is just making the game more garbage like? |

| 1, 2 and 3 are all valid ways of improving stability and reducing CTDs, particularly the 4GB Enabler. However, 3 'mods' that you haven't mentioned that I find invaluable when it comes to stability and CTD reduction are ENBoost (even if your not actually using the ENB post-processing effects), NVAC (New Vegas Anti Crash - also works for FO3) and Fallout Stutter Remover. I usually link people to this website to learn more. It's like S.T.E.P. for FNV: http://wiki.step-project.com/User:EssArrBee/FalloutNewVegas#Fixes
*EDIT* I would also like to add that I used Mission Mojave in the past, but it required countless comp patches for various mods. This resulted in a huge load order. These days I use Yukichigai Unofficial Patch - YUP and, so far, with the above mods I mentioned, I haven't had a CTD in FNV for over a year.
I've also moved this topic to the Troubleshooting forum as I think it's best served there. ~ Ormr _________________ - MY MODS & MODS I'VE CONTRIBUTED TO:

| I use both #2 and #3 but honestly the best thing you can do for stability is know your mods. Know what they do and how the act together.
Stutter remover is also nice. |

Ooops... Sorry for that and thanks for the link. I'll give it a try. Is there any fixes about geometry collision for this game? It's very painful problem causing CTD also. |

| What 'geometry collision' causing CTD from the vanilla game? I'm not familiar with this. There is a mod that 'fixes' and improves collision meshes. I know that much. You can find it here. _________________ - MY MODS & MODS I'VE CONTRIBUTED TO:

| If I remember right, Mission Mojave conflicts with TTW. So for a lot of users, it will only make problems and not help performance or stability. _________________ ᅚᅚᅚ

| Thanks for advices, OrmrSnaethorsen. It's really useful. It's time for testing... Edit:(May the 3rd, 22:49 pm) Ok, i've got my success formula for FNV stability. I've spent all my weekend time to see this. Just in case if anyone is interested: 1. Yup patch. 2. NVSR. 3. NVAC. 4. FNV4GB. Game runs perfect now without any annoying CTD's. Edit: I've completely deleted NVEC.(conflicts with other mods)

| I was very surprised of how much stability TTW brought to the vanilla game. Also FNV4GB helps a lot. _________________ I am looking for AC Odysset armor and outfits assets to port to FNV, if you know where I can get them, PM/email me.

| So much effort to fix this game and expand it by community, which we should thank for their achievements... I'm upset care attitude of developers to their creations in recent years. I'm afraid to imagine what will happen next ... I think the players themselves will finish crafts of developers ...
Edit: Looks like many users play TTW. I'll try it out later. |

| 4GB patch helped me the most - I had FPS drops and CTD sometimes earlier, but when I've installed 4gb patch - there is no CTD's at all, and FPS drop happens very rarely. x) |

| I tried most of these mods. They all do their job just fine. There's just way too many of them. And if i start tuning my FNV towards stability and better performance i'll end up having 10+ plugins to deal with. Usually some of them conflict with each other some minor problems. And even if i sort these out they might conflict with other mods. I remember having a CTD when i tried to open a door in Nipton's town hall, so i had to go to FNVEdit and look for conflicts, it took about an hour to find the culprit out. _________________ "And the Iceman cometh Sander baby. | It seems that I rejoiced too early. The game still randomly crashes when trading or picking up new perk... |

Just disable mods 1 by 1 until you find the culprit or use Wrye to determine which mods are conflicting and read the mods DESCRIPTIONS, most mod authors will list compatibility with other mods and if they don't they probably aren't worth downloading. The only way you can make your game stable is to have common sense and read the mods readmes, etc. |

I've already tried it...The problem is in vanilla game.(steam ultimate edition). I'm not giving up on this yet. |

| It's a real pain in the ass, but when I have a lot of mods I try to test everything out to make sure all my mods work with each other. I definitely go 1 by 1 to make it easier to indentify conflicts so i dont have to strip the whole thing to figure out what it is. sometimes i also use the geck to check what each mod does specifically, and i will eliminate some aspects of certain mods to make them work together. _________________ |
