Sorry I've been away a couple days guys, I'm in the process of shipping off to college and such so, you know, busy times. But I've begun to get curious about the reasons animation packs are so popular. Like WAR for example, do people use it because it looks cool, or it looks like how trained soldiers would handle weapons, or does it reflect your own personal behavior, should you have been placed into the role of The Courier? Let me know what you guys think.

It makes the Courier look much cooler. Although there isn't really much of animation improvement overall, it's just that it looks a lot better.
Skyrim animations on the other hand, there are many animations that make characters look better.

I use it mainly because some of the weapon mods I use require it (bullpup or foregrip)...otherwise, I really don't care that much. Sure, it looks good with NPCs...but I'm usually too busy shooting at them to notice if they're holding their weapon in a cool way.

I'm a sucker for immersive mods, I think a lot of people enjoy custom anims is because it either immerses them into the game or they just look bad arse. Or maybe it's because it's something different, and the player has the freedom to choose what they want.

Hmm. I perhaps force myself to use things like WAR, that demonstrate things like keeping your rifle pointed at the ground, trigger discipline, etc. because I come from a military family, and that is how I would personally handle these weapons.

I found vanilla animations quite improper so i use Weapon Animation Replacers only because it suits the game and make my character look badass

I use Weapon Animation Replacers because other mods I use tell me that I need to as a requirement for their mod working properly. Would I use it if other mods didn't list it as a requirement, I'm not sure really.

I use the Weapon Animation Replacers because they look better. Yeah, quite a few of the mods I use require it,but I got those afterwards.I also like that if I get bored with the set I am using I can go into FOMOD and change them.

Purely immersion based for me. I like the idea of having the option to make my character do things opposed to what the game dev's originally implemented ya know? It makes me feel like a badass even if it's all pixels :-)
