i loaded my game up one day and found all the acog scopes in mods like RSA, bf4 pack and carbon m4s have no reticle what so ever just a blank glass scope. naturally i have retraced  my steps uninstalled any recent mods , did clean saves for all three effected mods. verified the game cache through steam. and still they are broken.  they were working previously i have zero idea what it might be. any ideas on how best to proceed? or steps for troubleshooting?  (note it is only Acog scopes , eotechs and normal fade to black scopes work fine. screenshots are in my imgur album link posted below

Did you also reinstall those mods over others

I have done that also tried disabling every other plugin but the affected ones. Tried disabling each one individually to see if it is one of the three and nothing each one has the issue separately.

Disabling sometimes doesn't help as far as I know because if there are some files that have overwritten others they stay that way.At least in my experience. So to be certain I think you would need to uninstall the mods you are suspicious of. Then reinstall the mods that don't work and also do the archive invalidation because sometimes that fixes texture problems.

I'll give it a whirl and see if it works--- edit ima try and uninstall almost everything

Okay it should be pretty quick if you are using NMM. But if you installed some stuff manually you would have to find them in game files. Which happened to me several times now and I had to reinstall the whole game because I didn't know which files to remove or which mod it even was.

I really don't know why it would be like that. But does it ctd because of missing master or a different error. If it crashes because of missing master that probably means you have some mods installed manually and some mods are dependent on it.

Also I know that in RSA mod you can change the colour of sights maybe it has something to do with that and it looks somehow transparent ?

i am completely baffled as well. did a fresh install FNV is stable now. but the issue persists with no reticle on any acog sight two main mods im looking at Carbon m4 and RSA

Glad to hear it's working again but did you also delete the entire installation file after uninstalling the game or just removed it from steam and installed again ?

i unisntalled and for some reason the folder was still there i took care to wipe it out entirely then redownlaoded it. setup nvse, and proceeded to load an alternetative start mod and carbon m4 since it is quicker to install than RSA. issue with no reticle still present

This is definitely above me. I have never encountered a bug that persistent honestly.

ehh oh well i think i give up. the gun still shoots. this is too much work for a litte issue as not having a little red chevron in my sight. thanks for the suggestions though
