| Throughout my recent playthrough of new Vegas i have become more attached to bullet time over VATS with very few points of use.I enjoy Bullet time far greater than VATS purely because i feel it allows the player to take more control over the killing process unlike VATS what i feel is a bit over powered with most times being a hit of some-sought alongside the cool slow motion and visually effects that bullet time brings is just another point in which i favor it.
Don't get me wrong i used to really like VATS and the cool bullet cam however this was when i was playing fallout on the console but now it seems quite rusty and boring in my opinion.
So what do you prefer? Bullet time or VATS ? let me know on why you enjoy using one or the other and ideas on how they could be improved if they were both featured in Fallout 4. _________________ |

| I personally prefer bullet time, since VATS is just too OP. And I feel morel like a badass when I use bullet time instead |

| Definitely bullet time. I used nothing but VATS in FO3, and NV on consoles. I'm tuckered out with vats. I love bullet time and realistic aiming, along with realistic bullet speed. _________________ |

| both honestly.
I find VATS is indeed overpowered in most situations but it is really fun to watch that last enemy fall from a well placed head shot
Bullet time is useful for larger engagements and a multiple enemies as you have greater controll over the battlefield moving from fire to cover avoiding the majority of the damage and easily leading your target |

| VATS can be useful for fair off away targets, only if it works as desired, but honestly I rather not rely on VATS too much. If anything, bullet time gets the job done for me. That way I don't have to wait a longass time until I'm done firing my shots, because who knows. The enemy could make it behind quick cover, some form of barricade like a wall, flame barrel, debris, etc. That's the reason I believe bullet time is more superior to VATS. _________________ "Some men just want to watch the world burn." -Alfred Pennyworth**Screenshot story-arcs on hiatus until further notice** |

| I must be old school or just stubborn but I love and still use VATS. Perhaps I should give bullet time more of a chance but I tend to get attached to whatever I like first. |

I can see were you are coming from , i will usually be stubborn on certain things throughout the game like i always wear the NCR vet armor and if i don't i feel like i am betraying it for some reason. _________________ |

| I only use Vats in "unfair" situations that come about because of mods. Drastically increasing spawns+damage makes some situations near impossible to get out of otherwise. |

| VATS is a thing of the past for me. I never use it. I don't break action to go thru my pip-boy as well. I like live fighting no pauses while in battle. In real life there is no stop attacking me and look at my pip-boy button.

| I'm definitely more of a VATS guy - I enjoy it being different than many other games that stick to bullet time, and I enjoy the cinematic aspect of it. |

| I'm more into Bullet Time. VATS kinda breaks immersion for me. It gives me the turn-based RPG effect. I read somewhere that when you concentrate looking into something that moves, your brain records more frames per second so that "something" that your looking at, moves slower. _________________ TO CONQUER FEAR, YOU MUST BECOME FEAR... |

Then it is succeeding; VATS was a nod to the old RPG-based Fallout 1 and 2. |

| Personally I'd choose bullet time out of the two but I'd prefer neither. This is mostly because I use a few mods that allow me to kill and be killed very quickly (1-3 bullets depending on damage, where the bullets hit, and if I'm wearing a helmet). I prefer a stealthy approach and rarely use either. |

| I liked VATS at first when i was still playing on xbox, but once i found bullet time i really fell in love with the concept. Sadly, my computer lags with bullet time sometimes, but once i can afford a new gaming rig, Im gonna be using bullet time 100% of the time _________________ Just a simple man trying to make my way across the universe

| I find that V.A.T.S. gives you an unrealistic amount of situational awareness. Since I'm all about realism, I just stick with bullet time! |

| I'm not really a fan of vats, as it kind of breaks immersion for me. Pausing combat to target is not as much fun as slowing down time and still having to aim at your target. Sniping is much more fun in bullet time and you can hit targets at longer ranges than vats can detect. _________________ |

| i really like bullet time over vats for two reasons: 1) vats pauses time completely while bullet time just slows time down 2) vats breaks immersion while i think that bullet time doesnt break it taht much (at least for me it makes immersion even better) |
