| So I have had this problem before, and I was able to fix it, but it was a long time ago and I have long since forgotten what exactly it was, but I can remember having to remove a windows update, but I do not remember which one, if anyone has had to do this before, let me know? Thanks! <3 |

| Try this. Removes all dependencies for G4WL. |

| If it crashes when you want to start a new games/load a game you should try the d3d9.dll in this "mod" http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/18900/? But remember if you are using this d3d9 you will have to use the injector enb version (if you want to use one of course),as the wrapper one needs a diffrent d3d9,so you will most likely ctd when launching with the wrapper and the d3 wich comes with the mod above. So keep this in mind. |

| Thanks for the help guys, got it working, but I also had to do a little extra, turns out windows 7 security update KB2803821 breaks the game too, so if anyone else reading this had the same problem as me, and tried the fixes with no avail, try uninstalling that security update! Thanks again guys! Also the D3D9 made my game load faster too, worth mentioning. _________________ I want to dress in your insecurities. |

| TBH I'm not sure Fallout 3 is worth the removal of a security update. That puts your PC (and thus, a hell of a lot of personal info) at risk. As much as I love modding, I'd kick it to the curb if it meant my credit card info/etc being stolen. >.< |

| How would that update break the game? I have played FO3 perfectly in 7/8/8.1/10 for hundreds of hours.
All I do is simply install the latest GFWL from xbox.com then install the updated unofficial patch. FOSE removes GFWL from within the game so you'll never see it BTW. |

Now if OP is still having an issue even after either removing GFWL or going with my method I think it could simply be a hardware problem, FO3 really hates people setups sometimes. |

| Dunno how it broke it, but a friend of mine told me to try removing that update, and it worked liek a charm! But as Tesvixen said, I don't wanna risk my details so I might reinstall it and say meh to fallout 3 ... I still have other great games _________________ I want to dress in your insecurities. |
