| So I saw on twitter and facebook there are not going to be ironsights? If this is true, will it be like fallout 3/ CS:GO or what? _________________ I want to dress in your insecurities. |

| I like DICE. Look, I have to be biased, I'm a swede just like them, I'm obviously gonna root for them. But it really feels like it's been rushed or that they have spent all the time doing nothing, 2015 and all they have to show is 4 planets and 20vs20 multiplayer? In a world where 32vs32 players are becoming a standard even on consoles that's not really acceptable. |

| No EA is known for big promise games but once they come they very bad i want game footage i trust dice but ea will cut there development time and shove it full of micro trans actions i know there will they must have a gun system like battlefield because if you preorder the special addition you get a pistol this means they have a custom class menu and you know ea loves there money so it will have MANY micro transactions might as well call it Star Wars:Candy Crush. ok now i am done with ranting to releave the pressure i'll say... butt.. is that unmature enough? _________________ Cheese Pizza is best pizza

If you think DICE has nothing to do with a game that's been in development for three years seeming rushed, I can't help you. Too often do people blame the publishers. A lot of the time a rushed game is a result of cocky developers, look at KoToR 2, LucasArts wasn't planning on it coming out a year after KoToR, Obsidian said they could put it out in a year, so LucasArts held them to that. By time that year mark came around they had an entire planet still unfinished and numerous bugs, how'd the "fix" it? Bury the planet in the game's files and move the Jedi Master to a cage on Korriban. Same thing happened with Skyrim's civil war, but that was Bethesda's investors wanting to see a product for the money they gave Bethesda. Bethesda promised Skyrim by a certain date, that date came and the Civil War was unfinished, so they left the original Civil War in the assets and added the crappy civil war we have now to remain true to their deadline. |

| I will say that the game looks pretty cool, however, the content gutted from previous development under Pandemic studios makes the game a little less desirable.
I mean, you can look up rough alpha footage of Battlefront 3. Compared to what we have now, I will say that the on-foot combat looks extremely well-polished, pretty spot on for a battlefield game, which DICE is primarily known for. As for flying, there has hardly been any footage. One would assume that it handles like a jet, much like the ones in Battlefield.
As for the rest of the gutted content, such as space battles, it'll probably crammed into DLC, much like BF3 with the Air Superiority expansion. Heroes would seem a little kill-streak/CoD-like, if anything. But that is kind of the cynicism taking its course.
I can only say that, I'm not necessarily hyped or excited for the title, as it is leaving out a lot of content compared to previous titles and innovations that Pandemic had implemented, but I will keep an eye out for reviews and commentary on how the game is.
I just hope EA doesn't muck it up further, with Battlefield 4's unlock system. That system is kind of horrendous. |

| Not really. I tried the alpha and it was okay i guess, looked and sound gorgeous but the gameplay was very meh, guns overheated after like 10 shots (aka the amount of shots it takes to kill someone in Battlefront) and it was just generally not that fun. _________________ Intel Core i7 6700k - 4.4GHz ASUS Z170 gaming pro motherboard Corsair Vengeance 16GB 3000MHZ DDR4 RAM EVGA GTX 980 Classified 1.5GHz OC Samsung 840 pro 120gb SSD Samsung 840 EVO 500gb SSD Seagate 1tb HDD Corsair RM850 PSU 2x ASUS 24" 1080p monitor 1x DELL 27" 1440p monitor

| Let's be honest, it was being made by DICE so we knew it would be similar to Battlefield. Also Battlefront was already similar to Battlefield all those years ago, and still who cares if it's the same as Battlefield? It's still a Star Wars Battlefront game, of course it was going to be like this on next gen |

| I'm pretty excited to play battlefront again. Especially on next gen. I was hyped when I saw the trailer so I can't wait to play it. _________________ "If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way."

| Which do you prefer, Battlefront from DICE or Battlefront 2 from Pandemic? @Smash96 - do not post topic titles in CAPS, and do not post messages in CAPS. |

| Not exactly thrilled to be honest. Battlefront 1 and 2 had their thing and 3 looks so much like Battlefield 4 star wars edition. Heros'll get abused for one, and the gameplay just...bothers me. I don't know how. It just doesn't look like something I'm going to throw money at. Others will buy it of course, just not me. _________________ "You're born small and weak, and you die small and weak, what you look like in between is up to you." |

| @Lukaboot skepticism because EA is publishing the game is a bit silly at this point. Pretty much everyone who played the game or viewed/demo'd it at E3 absolutely loved it, and it won a ton of 'Best of E3' awards. Yeah, there's going to be DLC and other annoyances, but that's pretty much the norm with any major release the days, like Evolve and its $100+ of day 1 DLC. Either way people should judge the game on its own merits, instead of going into auto-hate mode because EA's name is on it. - Skarus wrote:

So the gameplay of a game you've never played bothers you? That's like saying you don't like the taste of food you've never eaten. |

So the gameplay of a game you've never played bothers you? That's like saying you don't like the taste of food you've never eaten. Eh, opinions. Maybe that food is something I've sworn off, like fast food. Jokes aside, yes, I haven't played it, so I can't exactly say much until I DO play it, I'm just stating that to me, and with DICE/EA's reputation lately, I don't have much faith in the game. That bit I posted about, the heroes, I realize were in BF1 and BF2, and if I can remember properly, they were hard to kill, as a hero should be. But this opinion is coming from someone who also enjoys playing games on an even footing where skill dictates who wins, and, well, I hardly think running around blocking lasers with a light saber would be considered skillful. Some people LOVE the class gameplay and vehicle usage, playing years worth of Battlefield though, ah, I'm gunna skip it. Fallout 4 deserves my money more _________________ "You're born small and weak, and you die small and weak, what you look like in between is up to you." |
