| @Skarus Oh believe me, I totally agree that DICE might drop the ball on it. After all they made Battlefield 4 which was, from what I read, one of the buggiest releases of an AAA game in years. My point was simply that I'd rather wait to play Battlefront and see firsthand whether or not the ball has been dropped, than do what a lot of people seem to be doing - deciding that they hate it already because of EA. |

Agreed, I see what you're getting at. A lot of us are jumping the gun because of the reputation of the devs and we probably shouldn't, because hey, they actually might do right, I'm just waiting to see because I KNOW my irl friend will buy it, he buys every single game DICE throws out, including Hardline, so I can see it/play it for myself on his PC before I make a decision. _________________ "You're born small and weak, and you die small and weak, what you look like in between is up to you." |

| To be honest, I'm kinda on the fence. I LOVE the Battlefront series, but I don't think I will buy this game for a few reasons. First and foremost, nearly all game play I've seen so far has been in first-person, which is a small gripe, but I always saw Battlefront as a game made to be played in third-person. To name another few, no Clone Wars (Only the Galactic Civil War), Only two Jedi heros/villains (To put it into perspective, Battlefront 2 had 18 heroes/villains), no space battles, no single player campaign, and I haven't heard anything regarding my favorite gamemode, Galactic Conquest. It looks pretty, sure, and I know the maps will be huge, but will it be enough? Also, the slapped on wave based survival mode isn't doing the game any favors in my book. |

| definitely excited for this, played the first two battlefront games on the ps2. Just wondering if they are going to have a different campaign set in the clone wars. |

| I am getting it for Star Wars. Will it be a let down? Maybe. Is it Star Wars? YES! |

| I would love to play this. I loved the first two Battlefront games.
However, there's a disturbing lack of content in this new game that worries me. Battlefront II had a lot of content. That was 10 years ago. However, the industry has changed for the worst, and EA being the publisher doesn't help.
I'm not saying that it won't be good, though. I think it will be. _________________ |

| Then again you have to remember the detail and depth of this game, you have to realise how...'simple'...the other Battlefront games were, there wasn't very much depth to the design. And the space battles, while I was disappointed at first, I know they were fairly bland and got kinda boring after a while. ...One thing however...one thing I am definitely not happy with...NO. CLONE. WARS. ERA. The Clones looked badass! And I always loved playing as them |

| That is true.
I share your disappointment in no prequel era content, too. But let's think about it. They want this to release in time for Episode 7. If there was no movie coming out, then EA could take all the time they want. Alas, there is, so DICE have to work to a deadline...
Sad, but true. _________________ |

| I'll be honest, I am disappointed with the lack of content I was expecting, but I'd rather have it in DLC than not have it at all...who knows, maybe they'll have free updates like GTA? *Very optimistic and wishful thinking* |

| That is true. We are getting free Episode 7 DLC, anyway, so there's that.
I can't say the same for future content, though. _________________ |

| I use to be excited for this game. When it was suppose to be released when I was still in HS. But now that I'm grown and it's been almost 12 years since the initial release date. I don't care for it that much. _________________ |

| The beta was amazing. And I would suggest pre ordering for the jakku map. Although I wish the beta was much longer |

| *Alert I have not played the beta* I sincerely hope that the complaints people have made about the balance of the combat are resolved before the release of the game. I'm already upset that dice has carved all that the original game was to fit their mold. I wish they had just made a different game and some different developer could take on battlefront, but unfortunately I'm just going to have to live with the fact that the 501st campaign, instant action, and galactic conquest are dead. If they don't eventually add space battles I will have no choice but to send passive aggressive letters to dice. _________________ Poor Todd's had an accident. So may you all |

| I love Star Wars and I mean I LOVE Star Wars! But after that Beta, being a big fan of Battlefront and Battlefront 2 no I will not buy it 60 dollars for the game then another 50-60 for the season pass ummm.... I love Star Wars, but I am not stupid...
After playing the couple maps they let us play, from not being able to pick your server and if you got on a laggy one for your location get ready to lead your shots. Same with those lagging. Major cool stuff got taken out from the originals, yes I know that its not Battlefront 3 but if your going to pick up on franchise shooter, at least progress more gameplay wise more than Visually do not de-evolve the game and all of its features. It felt like COD attempt that failed honestly in the way it felt. Honestly if they would had re-skinned BF4 with Star Wars it probably would had been a better game with mass customization's, Vehicles and load-outs of every type imaginable. Time to speak with our wallets, expect them to put some real effort into the game instead of rushing it. Its 60 dollars some of you will pay more or less where you live in this world. If you are going to give them your hard earned money be sure you are getting what you paid for a complete full AAA game. Visually its amazing and runs well, even the sound but as the post below mentions those sounds are IP so no messing those up straight from ILM. But yeah do not buy this game at full price... make EA know this is unacceptable. _________________ AAA Environment Artist & Modeler, US Army Combat Vet, Full Sail University Alumni

| The sound design is amazing (Because of the IP) and it contains the highest quality graphics, but I am not sure if it warrants 60$
DEFINITELY not another 50 with season pass It is fun, but it seemed too limited in certain aspects |

| from what i have seen so far i am very dissapointed from that game. i think we all agree that this game looks and sounds fantastic. but besides that there isnt much i am looking foreward to. the whole gameplay was already boring after one hour - everytime the same things again and again. i will may buy it if this game gets cheaper in the future but right now it is way to much expensive for such less content thats in it. _________________ I am not modding for fallout 4, but if someone like to port my mods to fO4, please feel free to do it. | Casual filth.
Definitely have simplified it so much so that people new to gaming who like Star Wars will be able to get comfortable playing it without much effort or time.
Good for them, bad for us who like the real Battlefront games.
Honestly, though, I think even those people will get bored with it. I really thought the graphics and sound design could save it, since they were so well done. But really, they won't.
I think people need to start joking about EA games when it comes to graphics over gameplay now. CryTek focuses on graphics a lot, but people only say their games are "just pretty" because they either haven't played them or don't play them long enough to actually experience the most they have. _________________ |
