Ive recently installed my first ENB which is RUST from the Cobalt and RUST pack on the nexus. Ive noticed a slight decrease in FPS but whenever i go near searchlight or around there i drop to about 10 FPS??

Not sure weather its the game or ENB??

ENB can strangle your pc a bit, try to disable it and go to these zones and check if it's the game or the ENB.

I think it's not ENB because I don't use one and I have this massive lag too. This occurs everytime I face the direction of crashed vertibird site while I'm in Searchlight. I dunno maybe the mods or the game itself. I remember robot encounters in there. A lot of em. Along with the 'hardened' robot variants that are soo tough to kill

If you have mods that have a high spawn count in the area, or conflicting mods. I recommend starting a new save, turn off all your mods see if it crashes in the area. If it doesn't crash turn a mod on, 1 at a time. Be careful though some mods depend on each other.

thanks for the help guys it makes it so much easier when i have help. I will definately try these tips out but im pretty sure ive had that lag before the enb so ill check it out.

Fallout is very buggy, it may be just the game itself.

hmm... Ive recently had much the same issue myself... interestingly only affects one of my characters (the one I have been playing recently ofc :p). standing north of searchlight (west a bit from the trailer park), facing the NW corner aria, my FPS just takes a huge dump.

Again, just on that character. Happens near 188 facing west, and in the region of rauls shack("ish") facing NW. use Dynamo, but same issue w/ it disabled. (0 improvement that i can see, sometimes even drops below 1fps with the ENB off). have a fair bit going on in the region from mods (the searchlight base overhaul, IWS, and some camps/patrols from legion mods) and use NMC/Poco B, but I can't see why it wouldn't give me the same issue on other characters if it was a mod conflict or a PC issue. Is it the same for you, or on all characters in the same aria? Do new characters have the same issues?

Its not save bloat for me (or doesn't appear to be) but I suspect a corruption of some kind, or general odd NV bug as Acies said.

I used to have that issue, but for some reason I downloaded a mod and it just fixed itself.
Only thing I can recommend is to press shift and enter, and disable your ENB when around that area.

Not a very nice solution, I know, but it helps.
