| Soooo I have a few questions that I found interesting and would like everyone's opinion.
People involved: madmax, Robert Neville, rick grimes, joel the last of us, Eli.(all in their prime)
1.) Who would win in an all out fight in the capital wasteland. 2.) Whos the smartest with survival and has better survivability? Meaning if they were all in separate fallout worlds who would be the last man standing . 3.) Who's outfit is the best :p 4.) Who has the cooler back story.
UPDATE: removed snake and added joel the last of us _________________

| Pretty hard seeing how they all have pretty good skills.
1) Robert Nivelle 2) Joel (Last of us) would be because of his tactics to survive in my opinion. 3) Madmax has the best outfit. 4) Robert Neville and Joel both have the best backstory.
EDIT: Post changed a few characters so i'm restating my claims.

| The competition is really between Snake and Max Rick is a survivalist but not as stealthy as snake and would be killed and Eli is blind so Snake would also take him out as well Max on the other hand is better suited to a Mojave wasteland because of his wasteland survivability in the game and movies if it came down to a fist fight though Snake would beat Max because of his cqc training with fox hound Robert would as well be a good competitor but fist fighting is not his specialty. Which is what this would come down to. |

| Big Boss, the man has killed a invisible spider guy, a photosynthetic sniper, a man who has pyrokenisis, 7 different metal gear types, stopped a nuke launch single handedly. He also fell 50 feet off a bridge and survived a nuclear explosion, and survived a helicopter crash. If this isn't a man who wants to survive, then i don't know what is. lol |

| I think this is apples and oranges. Big Boss is tactically trained whereas the others have just learned to survive in an apocalyptic environment. Max and Rick were both cops, but that's very different than the training Big Boss would have.
So I think Big Boss would be the last man standing, but he had an unfair advantage going in. The better challenge would be to remove Big Boss and replace him with Joel from The Last of Us. _________________ |

| 1.)Mad Max. He's been in many situations where he has no choice but to use his bare fists and lives in a harsher wasteland then any of the others. 2.)Mad Max. Like I said before, he lives in a much more harsher environment where there is death around every corner. You can't survive without a car and if you slow down then you're done. 3.)Mad Max's Fury Road Armor, but other than that, Big Boss' desert armor in MGSV. 4.)Eli has the Best Back story (only saying that because I've already said Mad Max for the other questions ) What can I say? I love Max, But I agree with dragbody, Big Boss doesn't have much of a place in this. _________________ Rest in Peace, Starman. Say hello to Major Tom for me... |

| It's apples 'n oranges and I don't quite see how Nathan Drake fits into the theme, but whatever.
1. Max 2. Still Max, I think. He's willing to do anything to survive. 3. Between Max and Rick Grimes. (I'm thinking of the several outfits Rick has worn throughout) 4. Nathan Drake. the rest of them either don't have a backstory or they're just, "I lost my family." |

| Its really how you look at it, some people were forced to survive from normal lives, others have tactical backgrounds and were prepared for such a situation. I'd say Rick at least formed the best coming from normal life. |

| After Terminator 2, I eagerly anticipated Part 3 to be still directed by Cameron. He could arguably have the best version of an adult, badass John Connor. Sadly, it didn't happen, "Salvation" just didn't cut it & my choice for him being the top post-apocalyptic hero can't be made. So now I'd choose: Mad Max. His character isn't that skilled but his excellent knack for survival, in tandem with having great luck, makes him the best bet IMO. On a side note.. how come there's no love for Kurt Russell's Snake (Escape from New York/LA)? That bloke was bad ass too. Metal Gear's Snake & Big Boss were actually inspired by the character (Heck, Kojima didn't even change the name for his version.) He is also a hero of the apocalypse in his fictional lore as well. |

| Since you edited in Eli, definately Eli would win against even big boss (I know he got taken out of the running). He has what would be god's spirit protecting him no one could kill him or sneak up on him (with his heightened senses from being blind). Pus he is extremely fast with his machete. A way more interesting character than the rest imo. He has the best story out of all the choices. _________________ |

1.)Definitely a toss up, I can't take Rick Seriously, he's pretty much just a dude lol. Eli would probably win. 2). Another toss seeing how max is always getting captured or in conflict I'll give it to Joel, with Eli being a close second followed by Robert. 3.) Max definitely. 4.) Rick is pretty lame, Eli is a very cool character, Max doesn't really do anything for me backstorywise, but he's definitely a bad*ss. Joel is meh. Robert is pretty cool though. |
