Hello everybody

Hi, i'm new here. I'm not used to introduction posts, but it seems the right thing to do, so here I am.

I've played Fallout 3 and New Vegas since 2009-2010, but I used to play on console. I've always had a crappy PC. When I upgraded my graphics card a couple of years ago, I got both Fallouts for PC, but even then I chose to stick with the vanilla game.

The extra fixes for major bugs were nice, but the task of actually modding my game seemed too much for me. I'm not good with computer stuff, and I was afraid of messing up my game.

Last week, I decided to give mods a shot. Nothing big, just seeing if I could make my game look better, without putting too much strain on my humble potato computer. And it worked! I'm very happy with the results, simple as they are. The new lights and colors alone have made me fall in love with Fallout all over again.

I saw a few mods I couldn't find in the nexus, and that's kind of what led me here. It's nice to discover there are alternative places to find things.

Even though I'm trying to be careful and not over-mod my game, some armors are just too gorgeous to resist. Now i'm eager to jump into New Vegas one more time, with some added flavor.

I also play Warframe, used to play Team Fortress 2, and also a few console games here and there.

You're smart to not over-mod it. We have a ton of 'hey guys, I have 140+ mods going and my game is broken plz help' topics here.

I typically run 8-12 myself, the most I've ever had going is around 24.

But I digress - welcome to the forums, be sure and have a look at the FAQ topics if you have any questions.

I think I'm running too many, but I'm probably going to uninstall some once I try them more thoroughly. Or once I realize that they sounded good in theory, but then i'll never actually use them.
