| If you are a fan of scifi and cartoons like The Venture Bros, I would recommend you trying Old World Blues. It can make you think of your life choices. What do your memories mean to you and should you spend your life by thinking about the past or is it time to start all over again. |

| Old World Blues and Honest Hearts are the more light-hearted ones, especially Old World Blues, which has a rather comedic plot. The nature in Honest Hearts is quite beautiful, especially the bridge that's hanging above the canyon.
Dead Money and Lonesome Road are darker, more serious ones. Many did not like Dead Money because of the collar, gas and hard enemies, gear being taken away etc. but that's what made it better for me. Especially the 2nd playthrough of Dead Money is enjoyable, because you aren't so distracted by the challenges and surviving and you can pay better attention to the plot.
Each DLC has a different theme too. This comes out especially in Dead Money and Lonesome Road. Dead Money's theme is greed and obsession, how all the treasure hunters trapped in the Madre were in the end not trapped by their collars, but their obsession over the treasure. Lonesome Road's theme is the past. I won't spoil anything though.
All I can say is, that DO NOT pass Dean Domino's speech check when you first meet, and explore. There's unique weapons in each DLC's worth getting, and snowglobes etc. But more importantly, the little details in the environment tell about the past of your surroundings. It's very interesting to come across the notes and marks left by those who were there before you. It enhances the feel tremendously.
I used to like Dead Money the least, but playing it a second time made me realize that I loved it the most. It's a very story-driven DLC, so do let yourself "sink" into the plot. |

| I really love honest hearts. I just love the characters and just the overall quests that are available. |

| I liked the atmosphere and characters of Dead Money, but the constant dreary visuals and tedious gameplay (damage-sponge enemies, cloud, collar beeping) bring it down quite a bit. Old World Blues was probably the most entertaining one, despite the ridiculously copious amounts of dialogue. |

I've decided to start with Dead Money, then Honest Hearts, Old World Blues and Lonesome Road. That's the order they were released in, so you definitely can't go wrong with it. Good luck, depending on how hard your difficulty, and hope you enjoy them |

| Honest hearts should probably be the first to complete whilst lonesome road should definitely be last. Old world blues and Dead Money can be completed in whatever order but just make sure Lonesome road is last x.x |

| Well, Honest Hearts does have the lowest recommended level cap if I recall correctly.
I still recommend completing Dead Money before Old World blues, because they tie in with each other, despite Old World Blues also having a recommended level of 15. This is most likely due to Dead Money being known for it's difficulty compared to the other DLC's. Then again, Dead Money is my favourite so maybe I should mix it up and play OWB before it just to see the difference.
My order is usually Honest Hearts -> Dead Money -> Old World Blues -> Lonesome Road
Side note: Honest Hearts has some sweet hidden weapons, getting them early is also a good deal in my opinion, because I don't think weapons scale with level like they do in Skyrim |

| I know a lot of people don't like Dead Money, but it's my favourite DLC in some ways
it's very atmospheric, the dark grungy feel with loads of threats and enemies, it's probably the most challenging, it's almost like a survival horror.
If you're into survival and challenging struggles then you might like it! _________________ - My YouTube - |

If you're into survival and challenging struggles then you might like it! I do like this mod as well but they take your equipment away......which is really the only downside but everything else is great! _________________ |

Thank god for the previous save. Thinking of doing DLC's now. Which one should I start with? Old World Blues is top notch, try to save Lonesome road for last though... _________________ |

You have to actually scavenge and it adds to the challenge, you have to craft, your bullets are scarce, you have to hide from the Ghost people and preserve your few health items... I know many people prefer run-and-gun over survival scavenging, but I don't. It can be a bit hard the first time around and you will probably feel very stingy about using your bullets. The second playthrough isn't nearly as stressful, trust me |

Before I had an actual race for my toon, I made lots of Samus masks with different expressions and hair options (30+)... I had grown so used to the masks that I forgot there was a hideous Fallout 3 default race character under it! So when I got abducted by aliens to start Zeta and zoomed in on my character, I literally said "Ahhhh God!" outloud, ahaha! |
