I always use normal weapons... I feel they fit in a whole lot more then energy weapons do

I normally use guns instead of energy weapons. depends on what kind of playthrough im doing. if ive found a really cool power armor or set of energy weapons ill use them, normal guns more badass...although the effects from eve do make the energy weapons feel like the '' POWER OF THE SUN IN MY HAND'' kind of a feeling

I always use normal weapons. Mainly because they suit my characters style (A bandit) and some energy weapons are very powerful and I like to have a challenge against all enemies

I would use energy weapons but I prefer on how the normal guns look and sound. But weapons like the alien blaster and gauss rifle really make me want to use energy weapons more often.

I really like to minimize the use of Energy Weapons on my playthroughs because I always try to go for a western-vibe. It even breaks my lore when I see an enemy firing one on me.

I don't really ever use energy weapons mainly, cause i don't really like the bulky look that they have, i usually prefer revolver's and Rifle's.

Weapons are like golf clubs you need a different one for different scenarios, so i can not just pick one.

I use a mod that removes all energy weapons from raider type enemies and replaces them with more logical ones (powder gangers, fiends, etc). I found that the game is a lot more enjoyable that way, leaving only BoS actually having energy weapons (witch would make sense, if every Fiend and his mother has a plasma rifle what's the point of "scavenging" technology?)

I like bullets, no ash piles =D

Call me a 80s kind of guy, but I love the sound of lead firing from a revolver and Blowing someguys hand off.
Energy weapons are cool and all, but nothing beats the rush of reloading a shotgun to blow a hole in some assholes chest. Leave your mark and all.
