Shotguns are always my favorite weapons in the fallout universe except for in New Vegas due to the lack of the badass combat shotgun. I know new Vegas has a plethora of Shottys but it felt empty without the combatshotgun. Thankfully there are mods to put it in but i was disappointed on my first playthrough not being able to use my baby.

I like the hunting shotgun that came with New Vegas, but the Combat Shotgun was a tool of mass murder!

I don't have to miss the combat shotgun. I added mods and voila there's the combat shotgun in all its glory.

Their are mods that add it back into the game like Project Nevada and Willow (the companion) adds back in the classic combat shotgun. Although idk if you want to download a huge mod just to play around with ONE weapon.

Oh yes I remember combat shotguns! Dear lord they were powerful, I remember when I was blowing up people with a single shot. Good times good thing modding is there for us!

Also, Mil created a scratch made Combat Shotgun for New Vegas. IT looks better and sexier ever. Just look for it under his mods on his profile page.

Oh did someone say shotgun?Shotguns are pretty ladies you know they are like your first love in school and they break up with you at some time but then a light shines in the emptyness and comes the combat shotgun.Ohhh i never really found a mod that adds one but i hope one day to find one.

The combat shotgun is by far my favorite shotgun in any game im glad mods brought this beauty back for me

I've run mods - quite a number actually - that add in their own combat shotguns(most of which I just discover that a random quest mod maker decided they needed to include it. Really wish people would leave that to mods that do specifically that nowadays, because everyone feels the need to, and there ends up being like five variant of the same gun), but never have I had one that I actually enjoyed. They never seemed quite as powerful, probably due to not being made to accommodate the new DT system.
