I've been trying to install an ENB for fallout new vegas, and I run the game with FNV4GB. I follow all of the install instructions and put the d3d9.dll in the exes folder, but every time I do and start up my game, I get the error message "The program can't start because the MSVCP100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem," and it crashes. So, I try and reinstall C++ redistributable but it still doesn't work. I then try the injector version of the ENB, and the game starts but there is no ENB message on the top and it doesn't work. Hopefully someone can help me to get it working. And thanks in advance to all who try to help me out.

This is usually a Microsoft Visuals C++ Redistributable Package problem. Since you said you've already tried reinstalling it and it still doesn't work it might be because you are running a 64 bit system. If so, then you will need to install both "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x64)" and "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)". This should do the trick i think. You can download them from the microsoft websites for free.

BTW. if you plan to use FNV4GB with and enb and use the wrapper version, you will need to add a command line to your shortcut for your ENB  to work. You should add this "-laaexe .\FalloutNV4GB.exe" to your target box.

I never updated this thread but I already fixed it. Installing the x86 redistributable got the job done for me. I'm now very happily enjoying an ENB.
