Hello fellow members of VGU.

My name is Thomas and thought i would say hello and introduce myself with a little about me.So yeah here it goes, As you probably already know my name is Thomas.You can call me Tom,Thommo and Shrek(old nickname from highschool).So well a little about me then huh? Well I'm 19 and currently a Uni student studying nanotechnology but hoping to transfer too Biological studies, so needless to say I'm a bit of nerd but hey aren't we all? Hobbies include well gaming,exercise,music and weaponry such as firearms.My favorite colour is green but orange is a close second.I enjoy mostly all kinds of rock music though admittedly I'm pretty light on the metal side of it.I come from the land down under where every stereotype ever created about us Australian's don't exist, except Drop Bear's those bastards will get ya.Well enough of me jerking off my own ego i should probably state why i joined.

I joined about two days ago after making the jump from console to PC gaming and sought out a site that would supply me with the community and content for one of my favorite series ever Fallout. Found you guys after a couple of searches through google and the mod nexus. To be honest i wont be the most zealously dedicated member you've ever seen but i will still post my own things as well as comment on others work on mods with words of encouragement.Do not not intend to just pack up and leave like most probably will.

Anyway with the formalities out of the way I'd like to know a little bit about you guys and i hope you enjoy me as a little new addition to the ranks of VGU.

Hello Thomas, welcome to VGU. Honestly I do not normally comment on peoples introductions to the community but "weaponry" and "firearms" caught my attention. Anyway I was wondering what kind of firearm specifically and out of curiosity what are the gun laws like in Australia?

In Australia they are tight as hell even airsoft is banned here. Most ownership of firearms requires a "legitimate" reason to be sent to your local police station.Reasons they usually except are pest control and being a member of a officially recognized firearms club.Usually the only things we can get here are 22.Pistols and the old 303.Enfield, more senior firearms license members can usually get more pistols but thats about it here. Nothing compared to the USA i can tell you that.

I just started at a firearms club not to far from my local area.I had firearms experience beforehand though when i was part of the Australian Army Cadets. We got to use the F88 Austyer and Browning 9mm pistol but they were rare experiences as we only got to use the local Barracks' range 5 times in the 6 years I was the cadets.Other weaponry though i have been with a Archer club for about 4 years.

What about you Messorem Mortis?

Well as far as back home I have a Bushmaster AR-15 and an Beretta M9. Other than that I have got to use a lot of weaponry from my time in the Marine Corps so far, everything from small arms to grenades and I have even got to pull the lanyard (fire) an M777 Howitzer.

Hello Tom welcome to the VGU hope you enjoy your time on here and it a thing about the gaming it actually doesnt matter on what machine you are playing right?Arent they all the same?Isnt gaming one with the force?Dont need to answer the question but still gaming is all one within the force and mind of a gamer and i mostly hope you enjoy your time here,make new friends,have lots of fun and hope too see ya on the topics take care we will see there!

Oh yeah BoomBewn i know that console and PC war stuff is utter bullshit.People fighting over plastic really? Sorry if i came off that just I've been having so much fun with New Vegas mods considering I've spent hundreds of hours on it my PS3.

I know what you mean i my self have a lot of fun playing on PS2 and Xbox 360 and i still do and PC Masterace ha!Which idiot invented that? Also about the console wars its either the fanboys or the money.

You seem like a cool guy, you'll definitely fit right in. It's a great community and everyone's pretty much as polite as a forum can get. There's also alot of people here with immense talent in modding and other things.

Think of any kind of mod you want, just ask. Because if it exists I've probably visited the mod page during my 2.5 years of New Vegas

So, weaponry, do you hunt or do you go to shooting ranges, maybe both?

Thanks for the kind greeting. Weaponry though only shooting ranges, you would think i probably live up to my last name Hunt and actually take up Hunting. I defs know you guys got some major talent even just from the Public mods. Speaking of Mods do you know of any The Last Of Us type mods or highly doubt but mods based of the game Infamous?

Anyway can't wait to see you more in the future.

Well, by the Last Of Us do you mean zombie mods? There's plenty of those. Also there's a playable Joel for approved users. Getting approved isn't a challenge really, it's basically once people get to know, like and trust you that's it.

Infamous, not really. Well, this mod lets you shoot electricity from your hands, kinda like Cole.
