| I find myself adding and downloading mods more then actually playing the game I haven't played skyrim, oblvion morrowind, fallout 3 new vegas and fallout 4 for more then 5 mins before going back to download more mods I dont need haha. Honestly I end up breaking my game more often then not hitting more then 255 before i realize Ive done so and have to rebuild again from scratch. Does anyone have any tips for keeping my load order small and still have a lot of mods. I know you can merge plugins but I will say for games like skyrim and the like its hard to do that without some errors occur. But, I have to say Im Brandon and I have modding problem nice to meet you all. _________________ - I Wish.... to Fly to a Place So Far Away:

| I did when i first started playing New Vegas on PC... i completely messed up my game within a couple of days i don't have that problem anymore as i've become a lot more picky with what mods i use plus i test all mods before actually using them in a playthrough. _________________ "Mine" |

| After experiencing any Bethesda game for the first time (pretty enjoyable), you will mod the game until you feel satisfied, start the game and realize you need more mods. So you close out of the game and download more mods. When you break your game with so many mods you realize that fallout and tes are shitty games and no amount of mods will fix them so you uninstall. Repeat process in a few months when your brain turns on that bethesda nostalgia
At least that's how it works for me. |

| I dont know.i had over 100 mods installed on fallout 4.Never felt they broke the game. The opposite really.i felt they enchanced the experience tenfold. Same with New vegas.Like getting candy on halloween. But im also very picky with mods.i dont download mods that severly alter the gameplay.Just add to it.Weapons, armor sets, graphical mods like enb's texture rehauls, that sort of thing. |

| After I completed Fallout 4 for the first time, I took a break from it for a few months until the Automatron DLC came out. That's when I started using mods. Ever since then, I work on perfecting my load order more than actual playing :p _________________ Born too late to explore the Earth, born too early to explore the galaxy, born just in time to BROWSE DANK MEMES.

| The most mods I've had on a game was F:NV with a little over 300 mods. If that's a problem I don't want to fix it. _________________ |

| I don't have a solution for your load order, but yes...I am guilty of this as well. Mainly armor mods since I always try to have my characters look awesome. In the end I always end up breaking my games. I think I have a problem. XD |

| I need a Modders Anonymous group to go to. .____.
I'm not truly happy until I have to reinstall the game and start from scratch...at least once (sometimes twice... I'm looking at you New Vegas).
I haven't done it to FO4 yet, but I'm fairly certain I'll get there eventually...one weapon mod, armor mod, and house mod at a time (seriously...who else here has like 5 different house mods... and I HAVEN'T BEEN TO ANY OF THEM YET). _________________ Currently Away tending to family medical needs. I enjoy repeating numbers, specifically 11. I also enjoy numbers appearing in a sequence such as in Month/Day/Year. IE: 02/04/06 and so on. This makes November Eleventh, Two Thousand Eleven my favorite day to date when written short as 11/11/11. Despite my near unhealthy obsession with numbers...I loathed Math in my school years.

| I'm Running Fallout 4 constantly with 255 plugins loaded and around 300 mods. Messed it up from time to time, but allways merging my plugins and checking twice for conflicts with Fo4 edit. I need tons of new armors I never actually see ingame because i forgett about them, 50 weapons and every single new Power Armor i can get... really... _________________ Just a carrot on a stick...

| I check out FO4 nexus for new mods every blue moon or so. Don't even have the game, but if I did, I would just mod it from the start.

| Wait...hold on...I thought the whole point of fallout was to install mods...seek mods out...install them...update them...discover conflicts...research resolutions to said conflicts...dissect load order and optimize the load order...find quality textures...optimized quality textures...compressed high quality textures...then retextures...debating if an addition is or is not "lore friendly" consulting a wiki...a community...having a poll for "lore friendly or not lore friendly" changing the leveled lists...combining different leveled lists...resolving conflicts with the leveled list (looking at you black shark 20mm AMR where one play through every single member of the BoS was carrying one) Deep diving into altering existing mods...manning up and creating one from scratch...begging others to play test it because you don't have time to because you're too busy with all of the above...not realizing that everyone else is too.
However that said...I don't see the problem...I thought that was the point _________________ |

| Yeah I always have this problem with modding in Bethesda games, I've probably spent over 1.5k hours actually finding mods and fixing mods that conflict with each other etc. Of those 1.5k hours i've only spent half actually playing the game only for it to crash and fix it all up again. |

| my fallout NV is completely destroyed, it's a shame but I have not the courage to repair the game, it took me months to install all my mods ... I understand your suffering friends. _________________ |

| Yeah, I have a cycle.
I'll do a fresh install, and try and plan my mods and check the game after every few to make sure there's no errors etc.
a couple weeks in I've got so many mods and something somewhere goes wrong, and I don't know the root of the problem so I just start from scratch again, aaaaand repeat. _________________ - My YouTube - |

| Everytime I'm about to start a new playthrough, I spend about ten minutes looking at my mod list and considering which ones I can disable to help shorten load times.
I usually end up having to talk myself into taking off just three or four of them, and I feel proud of myself.
Then a few hours later, I end up reinstalling them anyway.
