Hi Guys and can i say i have seen some great mods on the site, i am new to modding and have so far modded my game a little but getting radom dips in FPS.
I am using a ENB and solid most of the time at 60FPS but when roaming around dipd to 45 or so....it seem when new tree's and so load is when this dips.
I have been trying for weeks to get this steady tried ini tweaks load order an i have had some success but still happening when i start to roam

Any help would be great as i am stumped thank you

How much Vram does your GTX 780 have? Sometimes in certain areas there are more textures than others. If you card doesn't have enough Vram it could take more time to process causing fps dips. I would recommend getting the mod that gets rid of random items that you don't need and any other performance improving mods to help a bit.

There are mods like the New Vegas shutter remover and New Vegas anti crash...there are also large bug fixing overhauls that help with shutter and CTD like NVEC...I had similar problems but the New Vegas shutter remover solved them completely.

Hi Guys, sorry was away with Work and unable to access site, i have 3gb V ram and i'm using NVSR with 4gb and performance of the gods mods. Sometimes when my game gets slow, i type "pcb" in the console and everything is normal again. So now everytime it's stuttering or lagging, i do that and it always works

I also have NMC small texture pack active, with Weapon retex and Hires clothes

I am sure it is high res clothes,they ruined my fps as well so I had to sort that mod out.
And even if you get 40 fps hey you still have more than I do (20-30).But I usually play on console so I am accustomed to 30 fps,not sure about how others think but a game is still very good playable with 30,or even like you said with 45 (!!) Fps.
Anyway as said above it is most likely the high res clothing mod.

FPS dips are totally normal on modded games, especially when using an ENB with a number of HD textures, even when playing on high-end rigs.
Yes, the game does stutter when loading objects and cells, that is expected from a Bethesda game and is present in other games too.
Get that NV Stutter Remover installed, that will help with small stutters that New Vegas had to begin with. As for the FPS dips, tbh it's probably just the mods you have installed, either get lower resolution texture packs, cap your framerate (you can do this through ENB), or just simply live with it (like I do haha .

I'm running a 980 and deliberately cap my FPS at 60, it is 90% solid 60 but sometimes drops to 30, eesh...

Thanks everyone for your help I guess I will live with it, but new Vegas stutter remover did help. I also changed the heap size and this has made a difference. The game is awesome modded and can't go back to vanilla anymore
