| Hellow, I have a rather strange phenomenon on Fallout 3: the music on the radio stutters. And its just the radio music, not the DJ, not the background music nor the dialogues. New Vegas runs just fine. what's going on? Is my game somewhat corrupted?
Problem is I kinda forgot how to install mods properly, so i do not want to have to re-install the whole game?.
PS: to avoid a new useless thread, can someone tell me how to open the console and the basic functions of it such as additem or open the character modification screen? I have stopped fallout long enough to forget this as well...
Thanks in advance for helping me. _________________ I don't know what to put in my signature yet....

| You can open the console using the tilde key.
showracemenu allows you to modify your character.
player.additem <base id> <amount> will allow you to add items. Example - player.additem 00015169 1 adds one stimpak to your inventory. Base ID's for various items can be found on the Fallout wikia.
This should resolve your radio stutter (I can confirm it worked for me) - http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Radio_stutter_fix _________________ |

| I have this problem too,I guess it is because we have too much mods installed,
For your mod problem, open your fallout 3 folder, search data and put the data folder from the mod you downloaded in your data folder. This is how I do it,but you can install them Via FOMM/NMM but I think FOMM is better then NMM,people have sometimes problems with NMM. |

| Yeah FOMM is way better than NMM, I have both but I never use NMM. For installing your mods, just go to your fallout 3 directory, there should be a folder named Data, click that folder and you should see things like meshes, textures, etc. Then open your mod Data folder and copy what's inside of it and copy them in your fallout 3 Data folder (Make sure you copy/paste what's inside the Data folder not the folder itself). _________________ |

| For the player.additem thing, if your only using vanilla things that u want to add, then i highly suggest cheat terminal on the nexus. Or if you're skilled with geck u can always add containers and put whatever you want in it. _________________ |

| My sound card is external since I use it to kook my PC to my sound system. The driver is up to date and the sound card runs smoothly on NV. NV is almost identical to Fallout 3 so why is it glitching that much I wonder... _________________ I don't know what to put in my signature yet....
