I was downloading 2 Mods for Fallout 4 and installed them by the NMM. After starting the Game there appaered on the whole half-leftside of the screen a kind of abstract smiling Face and i get a ctd. I deinstlled the 2 mods, tried it again and had the same problem. Somebody knows what it is???
(I scanned 2 downloaded data folders for Virus, bit found nothing)

Well, first off, as far as viruses go, that would be a highly specific and useless virus. Most would be more malicious than crashing your Fallout 4 game, so I doubt it's that. Where did you download the mods? It sounds much more like a weird mod conflict than anything else. Also what mods where they?

I downloaded it here. The first one was: [FO4]Adsumus FO76 Imports v. 0.3(WIP) and the second:[FO4] Mass Effect 1-3 Complete Weapons Pack
After deinstalling and Data Check (the Steam data-Check) nothing changed...i fear i have to reinstall the complete game :-(

Have you checked your load order for incompatabilities/ESM masters missing? 9 times out of 10 thats the reason for a main menu CTD

Wow, that's interesting, that's just the texture for an item. I have no clue why that would be overlaid on your loading screen, but that's what it is. I've never seen anything like that before

Yes me too, but after the loading screen fished, it will stay on this side of the screen, an the right side is the side of the game..and after 3 seconds ctd.

Well that's truly bizarre. I've fixed a lot of CTDs in my time, but that's seriously something else. I really can't think of what would do that. Maybe try googling it, asking about stuff like textures appearing on the UI. Sorry I couldn't be more help

I make now a new installation of FO4..hope after that it will work again
