| Hi, I am curious on how fallout 76 is doing right now, i think it released a big update with human npcs or something and I want know if the game is any good. I saw that it had mixed reviews on steam but a lot of people were complaining about bugs, I am thinking about buying it because you get the classic fallout games, should I? |

I think you're just better off to just get the classic collection, I think it's wiser if you wanna try 76 wait till it's a free weekend/week again and play it for yourself. https://store.steampowered.com/sub/45615/ |

| Honestly, while I've heard the game is improved, it's still not exactly good. I wouldn't recommend it, especially not for 40 euro. |

| Considering you can still get it pretty cheap in a lot of places, Yes. Even without that price drop, I'd say so - If Wastelanders is anything to go by, later updates and content will be worth investing in. _________________ And I find, on my way to death and happiness, that my heroes, my heroes dress in black.

| I mean sure, Wastelanders is a great patch and all, but we are talking about NPCs, that's some pretty basic stuff. I played with a friend and i was not at all impressed. _________________ |

| Speaking as someone who only uses PC, doesn't own and hasn't played it, I can only look at what's been said about it. Wastelanders seems like a step in the right direction, but honestly, I'm dumbfounded by Bethesda's asking price for this games Steam release... £35 for the base game alone, £50 for the "deluxe edition", which contains the Wastelander content that's been hyped for the steam release. That's not even touching on the subscription fee and in game currency, which adds in excess of £100 to your initial purpose if you went all in on this game.
Considering this is a game that retailers were literally giving away a year ago, and you can currently pick up new from retailers for under £15, it simply isn't worth the price.
I do want to eventually give it a chance, once it's in a more viable state, but honestly, if you haven't picked it up by this point, just do that same as me and wait. I guarantee you that in a few months to a year, there'll be a steam sale where you can pick up the base game and all its content for a third of the asking price. _________________ Muwahahahahahahaha!!!What do you mean evil laugh!? | I am actually enjoying the game since the game left its beta status (yes wastelanders is the fallout 76 as it should have been in the first place).
ANyone here has the Marine Armor helmet that wants to create for me so i can scrap it and make it possible for me to create it aswell? It is a super rare drop, and can't afford to farm it.. _________________ Only the Dead have seen the end of War |

| I'll never be one to say that it's the greatest game ever made or anything. I enjoyed it when it came out, but I am a huge Fallout fan. Did it have problems when it launched? Well yea, it was a bit of a mess if I am being honest. Is it worth it now, since Wastelanders launched? I think it's much better, the game feels more like this is what we should have seen on launch instead of what we got.
Am I one of those people who are going to bitch, bemoan and flip tits on Bethesda for releasing 76 in the state that it was, No, not at all. They did what they did, for everyone to immediately be angry and swear off the game for ever just doesn't make sense to me.
I think everyone has their opinion, some like it, some don't. There are games I don't like, or games I think are a mess, but the hate that 76 receieved, in my opinion was really harsh to a degree. If you like games, gaming, or are a Fallout fan, try the game for yourself, form your own opinion, and go from there.
My opinion might not be popular or following the trend of hate on the game, but it's mine and offered. |

| From what I hear Wastelanders is a pretty good update to the game, however for me personally their behavior throughout the game's ongoing life has basically killed my interest in future official Fallout products because they made it more then clear they don't care about the Lore and the fanbase, we're just pay whales to them who would buy anything with the Fallout title on it.
I don't hate Fallout now, Fallout 1, 2, Tactics, New Vegas are my Fallouts and whatever the community creates will be what continues it's flame because they actually give a shit.
76's new content is a step in the right direction but for me it's surround by a crappy leveled weapon and armor system, the atom shop, the bugs that continue to persist, hackers looking to one up the last hacks [ spawning in objects and creatures, stealing people's inventories. ], I don't think Wastelanders is quite enough to get me to buy the game not after all they've messed up. However if you already own the game, might as well give it a go from what i heard and seen the voice acting is excellent and it has a pretty good dialogue system. |

| 76 new wastelanders content is okay but the game is still a grindy, glitchy mess with micro transactions set at an extortionate price even if you want to play for the new content it will be fun for a little while but its just not the same as a typical fallout game _________________ The OG Queen of 76 PortingCheck out my Ko-fi page for pictures, access to my mods and to help support my McDonald's addiction. |

There's no extra price for Wastelanders, it's free. The subscription is optional and totally passable, nothing it gives you is necessary or really all that worthy of the asking price. In game currency is thrown at you pretty generously, made 1000 in about two weeks of casual play. Subscription also gives you a bunch of currency if you go for it, so it's not extra cost. _________________ And I find, on my way to death and happiness, that my heroes, my heroes dress in black.

| Not really. If the game came out like this at launch, it would at least be passable, not a complete train wreck and a pop culture joke it is now, but not amazing, either. I actually am not that glad that wastelanders came out, because the content that's there is content that won't ever come to a "real" fallout game. The quests and factions they introduced aren't bad, but I will never experience them, and neither will a good portion of the community, and they cannot re-use them in fallout 5, or whatever the next fallout game, will be
I am hoping that the inevitable fallout: the tales of west virginia, or whatever the fallout 4 expansion that will let the players experience fallout 76 offline will be called, will port over both the quests and the world exactly as they were, even if it won't make a lick of sense story wise _________________ http://z0r.de/?id=293

| I got it for very cheap (they barely sold the physical copies, so those are being dumped for ~$15 each as opposed to full price for digital copies), and it's alright.
I don't love the changes to make it essentially a lottery game (the entire endgame is just re-rolling legendary enemies to get better legendary weapons/armor), but it's fun enough to warrant a ~$15 price tag. I'd have a different opinion if I'd paid full price for it. |
